Brilliant one both, love it down there, spend loads of time around there. Big up to you both, them climbs from Branscombe and on past Sidmouth are killers especially in warmer weather. Quite a few people camp out like you at Weston mouth. We made the same mistake as you with the ferry's too haha. Keep up the wonderful adventures

Awesome video (as always) Becky! I did an 80-mile section of the SWC last year from Lizard Point to St Ives. Was a lovely stretch of coastline. Enjoyed watching your video and getting to see a different section of the path.

The South West Coastpath has some stunning views. If you choose to walk the whole thing at some point, i have two bits of advise. 1, In Cornwall, be careful of mine shafts. There are thousands scattered around the county and not all are capped or fenced (some are right on the side of the path too). 2, Also in Cornwall, keep your eyes open for Cornish Choughs. They are members of the crow family with long, curved, bright orange beaks. They make some astonishing noises!! Nice to see you out with your boyfriend, i imagine it made quite a difference to your solo trips!! Keep up the hard work!!

It’s a great place, glad you had a good time. I live local to the area and over a few years walked the whole path, camping in some amusing places. Hopefully you will be back to walk some more 😊

nothing like walking along the beach ...in cobbles and stones...not sand like most places int eh world and night one sleeping on a rocky beach...oh to be young again we used to enjoy the views looking out into the north sea from the cliffs south of aberdeen just like the night 2 site

Me too, It's my regular pre work haunt and was there sitting at Hangtime cafe part of that weekend and if I'd seen you, I might not have even realised! Funny how normally when i watch you and others on Hiking vlogs, I'm interested in the presenter and tent etc not so much the scenery but because all this was 'my patch', I was constantly shouting at the TV saying "turn the camera round!" "Show us that part!" "That's near the recent cliff fall" etc etc. 😄 Ps. You can get a boat over further up the railway from Topsham to an Estuary side pub and join the path from there! 🤯😎

I walked, supposedly 50 miles of this path almost 40 years ago. Unfortunately, person planning the route simply measured 50 miles in a straight line with a ruler… the longest 50 miles I’ve ever walked! Oh, and just a thought, if I was going hiking with my girlfriend and she gave me a ONE man tent, she’d have been dumped! To quote Agent XXX (Barbara Bach), “Shared bodily warmth!”

Are you kidding me ?....Jakes attire is very similar to the Spanish Conquistadors, I half expected him to board a Spanish Galleon and steal Becky across the river, Conquistadors dont use Trains !! Threatening the locals with a Spanish Invasion, and Plundering the town might have assisted in commandeering a worthy vessel, oh well - next time. LOL !! Cheers!⚓

Hi there from California. You are lucky. I live on the California coast and we are not allowed to camp on the beautiful beaches. Only a few places, you can, but it is State owned and you have to pay a hefty price.

@@LincolnClay98Yes, dont get me wrong. I absolutely do think I live in the most beautiful country. Especially in California. We have the Pacific coast, Sierra mountains which include Yosemite, vineyards, rolling hills, deserts, etc. I really am lucky. I was just saying how I wish I could easily camp on a California beach. But you also have absolutely beautiful places in the UK. And the history is amazing!!

Becs. Great content as usual. I noticed on your video that your feet pronate. Go and see a professional and get some good orthotic insoles while you're young. Otherwise your knees, hips and back will be screw'd a bit later in life.
