Yeah, no...I don't think China will ever forgive Japan's actions during WW2. They are smiling because they know they have a position of power now and they can inflict damage on Japan if they feel like it. The Chinese are not a defenseless country anymore and that's why all should take their "friendship" with a grain of salt.

In the eighties Japan was the strongest economic powerhouse in Asia. Now China has surpassed Japan, and it won't take long and China will surpass the US as well as the largest economy. So, it's makes sense that both the US and Japan are trying to contain China's economic growth.

A very nice possible milestone in relations between China and Japan. But how genuine is hard to gauge. As China still has deep animosity and concerns over Japan's strategic soft (and now moreso hard) power links with the Western World's geopolitical intentions. Against China's intetests.

The Groups were discussing.. when we see what Japan really do will tell whether they are genuine or not As JAPAN got NO say in their Country as Occupied by the West as their Military bases for decades...Yes??? No ??. The Truth is in the pudding. Action Speak Louder than Words. Pray All Genuine & Work with China for Peace Progress & Prosperity for Humanity & the Asean Region.
