​​@@gunpuppy3533 In your dreams says the guy who is ignoring the fact that last November: • An incumbent party held all their state legislative houses and made gains for the first Midterm in 88 years • An incumbent party held all their senate seats while making a net gain for the first Midterm 88 years • An incumbent party for the first time since the 80s made a net gain in Governor's seats in a midterm. • And lost the house by an extremely close margin. All under Trump and his hand picked primary candidates.

Well the two party system discourages a lot of people from voting at all and especially from voting third party. Especially this election both candidates were awful.

@Nick Gurr it should be noted that higher turnout was back when only (white) men were allowed to vote, so that does skew with statistics somewhat.
