Tom Schachtsiek goes in search of blue whales, the largest animals on earth, in East Timor and shows us the best side of this little-known island state that is hardly developed for tourism. He meets a real king, the first president, crocodiles, climbs a sacred mountain, is lonely on an island and dives into the coral reef with the greatest diversity of species. But the dark sides, such as high youth unemployment and poverty, are also a topic, as is the hospitality and warmth of the Timorese.
