@@brucefulper4204 there is a big green W by the drivers name that wins each round. We don't show ET for several reasons, one being there were no clocks at most little tracks in the mid 1960's so we're trying to reproduce that era as close as possible.

Man safety standards are so tough in my line of work that we’d get fired for not wearing a respirator at the starting line. Our workers comp insurance would definitely deny any respiratory claims for not wearing PPE. 😂 LOL

Kind of disappointed to see some of the guys running clutchless transmissions. Kind of figured if it was old school make them use the clutch to shift. Still a lot of fun to watch

I'm pretty sure all the gas classes run clutchless but, it was my understanding they were supposed to tap the clutch between gears to keep it old school as if they were running a crashbox. Apparently not though.

In the 1960's racers took the synchronizers out and cut every other tooth off the sliders in the stock style transmissions. It was called slick shifting or a crash box, this process made the transmissions clutchless so it not something that wasn't done back then.

The rules originally required clutch type transmissions. Basically some people started ignoring the rules to win. It was impossible to police if people can’t be honest.

Can some one tell me why the front ends are so jacked? How did that start being a thing?

This is exactly how they built these cars in the 60’s. Have the front end higher so the center of gravity is shifted to the rear to gain more traction on the rear tires.

After years of sourcing parts I have a 1964 dodge dart 273v8 hardtop with almost everything needed to build my dream gasser. Unfortunately my health is not going to permit me to build it. It's going to rot away in the back yard 😢

I stopped watching when a Ford (45:16) mustang had a Boe Tie in it's grll, that's disrepectful & would not have been happening back in the 60's or 70's, when I grew up at the Race track. agree to disagree, SGA should not let this happen.
