The yacht delivery of a Southerly 115 from Northshore, Itchenor (near Chichester) to St Helier, Jersey.
The Southerly 115 is a fabulous yacht. Our highly experienced Yacht Master Ocean Skipper and First Mate loved sailing her across the Channel.
The owner was delighted with the service and said the following:

Thanks for sharing, wind gusts is a good feature on windy, as is the reported wind speed data from vessels etc

Excellent, Thank you. And a good Ad for you as always. It would have been much more useful for me as a lowish hours, not yet done the channel skipper, and perhaps more interesting for the public, to talk a little about, and show the planning for the CIs and esp the Alderney race, and your decisions about tide changes and timing, and your routing around Jersey. Im thinking dep Chbg Dover HW-2, and through the race at HW onwards, taking the south going tide, and then West of Jersey

Can younsay/show more about how you deal with arriving late into Cherbourg and leaving very early: how does that work?

We booked and paid for a berth on the phone with a marina. We landed on the visitors berth late and left early. We didn’t need to go ashore or use the facilities.
