checking out some of the oldest settled areas of southern Arizona, many ghost towns popped up in the 1800s and were later abandoned leaving an excellent overlanding opportunity. fresh trout for dinner. i live a stones throw from Tombstone, and Bisbee. the Huachuca mountains are a great view from my doorstep. Love Arizona!!!!

Cool run through the Patagonia mountains. I have done very little there. Mostly I am in the tumacacori and santa rita mountains on my channel. We however dis go looking for some of those ghost towns you posted. Never found them though 😢

I’m not surprised you had no luck there’s so many roads all over those mountains I had to do a ton of prior research to figure out where they were and even then my buddy was familiar with the area so he got us there. I’ll check your channel out!

@@Whitedogoverland that is awesome... I had looked at two books, "Arizona Ghost Towns and Mining Camps" as well as "Ghost Towns of Arizona". I think we got close to Washington camp, but the land was private so we didn't go back there. Looks like your friend is from the area and showed you around back there? That is way cool. I think we drove by his cabin. I saw was for rent. Super cool. When are you planning your next trip down there? I know the tumacacori highlands pretty well. Have a bunch of that area on my channel.

Anywhere west of i19 is pretty bad, east isn’t as bad but we definitely saw the evidence. It’s gotten BAD over the last 3 years. Virtually no traffick before 2020
