Great video as usual. Just a tip for you that you may already know. On your sit and climb with the net seat. If you will actually have the top section pointing down slightly that seat is way more comfortable.

Years ago when I was a lot younger I hunted heavily in Arkansas, east Texas and Louisiana in the thicker timber. My favorite weapon in heavier timber is my old Remington Wingmaster 12 ga. Using slugs I was/good to about 70 yards. Which is a good distance in heavy timber. In hunting from a climber stand my old Remington.270 w/ 4x12x50 was a great shooter. Mostly longer shots across those clear cuts and power line clearings.

We were positioned higher up on the hill…when the sun was out there was a strong updraft so our scent was pretty much going over the deer!

Thanks! The rifle on this hunt was a Christensen Arms Mesa rifle chambered in 7mm-08. It’s a great rifle but there was a little bit of buck fever in this video 😅.
