That was AMAZING! You guys nailed, "Bohemian Rhapsody".I marched with Ohio University in 2008. As of 2014, NCAA ranked us 4th place. Southern ranked 2nd behind Ohio State. You deserve it. I love Southerns precision style of marching. I also love how they can drill the games halftime score. I love this song, and you guys ROCK! Nice job "Human JukeBox".

This is why I'm a fan of Haymer. The dude knows and loves great music, period, doesn't matter the type or genre. And that taste in music spills over into the band. Excellent stuff.

Ok let me be clear I am with no shame I am a JSU Sonic Boom faithful!!!!! I love the BOOM!!! Crab 1994 in the BOOM!! I am glad I have gotten pass all of the talking down about other HBCU bands! When I marched in the band there were a few I really could not wait to go against and this Band was Number one that I love to battle!! I must admit with no shame, Southern absolutely kill this song and it sounded great!!!! This was an awesome and uplifting moment for all HBCU bands! No matter what school you attend you have to show love to SU for showing the versatility of an HBCU band to play something as technical as Bohemian Rhapsody but still have that HBCU sound. Purely amazing!

WOW never heard or even thought a HBCU would play this song and it sounds really good we played this in High school and we were a crop style band we sound really good playing this but this tops any arrangement I have ever heard of this song. GOOD JOB SOUTHERN!!! this made me love the jukebox even more!!!

Everyone talking about attack and release, since when did a HBCU been known for amazing diction... it's been about Big Sound, Raw Emotion... HOWEVER, if they did play with just a TAD and I mean tad more diction, they would be COMPLETELY unstoppable. Right now they are at the top of the game... Low Brass is HUUUUGE and NIIIICEEE!
