The trombones were not full on this song and it caused the song to be thin. Then the mellos were not playing our . Finally the 2nd and 3rd trumpets were not playing out

They btones ringing, if they want more pure volume they could get marching baritones, but if they want that deep boomy sound they need marching euphoniums

Chris Hayward Aug will never get those horns. They stick with tradition. I would think they would get marching euphonium. That would bring out a better sound for them. Only problem is those monster require some power behind them.

Mr. Igohard69 I hate that for them. There’s a Battle of the Bands video, with their band being he better one, in my opinion. But I was struggling to make sense of their baritone parts. I don’t think they’re weak players at all!

Al Coleman that's the reason Su sound totally different from any other band i love there tubas all other bands sounds the same, why you think SU get all the recognition and other bands don't

I dont know if you have been paying attention, but SU competed against JSU twice this year, and they have gotten blown out. DONT take my word. There are plenty of youtubes for crankfest and boombox. Everyone comments on JSU's tubas..as I said, the proof is there. SU is #2 this year
