I head some haters talking about Purple Rain, saying Southern play it too much.. the facts are, Southern bought this back for BOTB 2013, and only played it at only 2 or 3 games the most this year. Which makes me believe they are saying this because Purple Rain is a Beast, and is a song that would be very hard to answer to.

A &M doesn't have problems with their identity.they have just been going through a really long rebuilding period.funding is down so until that changes the numbers won't change.when A & M entered the swac '98/'99 they were one of the few bands that was matching SU power and intensity and range IMO.but that was short lived as the program declined in 2005 and hasn't recovered since.

Homboi, if you go measure for measure, SU staff of writers make these other directors look high schoolish. Be real, yeah AAMU sounded really organized playing simple ass, off key tunes. you must be listening to this battle on a CB radio if you think they out played southern on any song. Hell, "We are one" basically made everything else aamu played sound elementary. #yepisaidit

One thing that gives Su an edge over most bands is they arrangements be on point. Also the aggression. If A&M can get back that 2010 size maaaaaan that's all I'm gonna say lol.

I was at the game and Aamu held their own of course they not gonna be louder than su but they are really good for their size, they are clean, dont hang over, you can actually hear who has the melody....just wait on the magic city classic videos when they go up against Asu...

Once aamu gets that size and clear identity they are an up an coming program.... people so quick to judge what's boring but I see a quality program that's still in the building stage...... but u can't sleep on them

OK. A&M doesn't sound bad here, BUT their song selection is horrible. Like WTF?! These are songs you play during the 0 quarter or during the game after a touchdown or some. I'm kinda feeling the last song.
