The bible never allows women to take authority over man in the church and preach

People always want what they can't have. As a man I can never enjoy nursing a child, God has reserved that role for women, just as being a pastor of a church is reserved for a man. The problem I see is not enough men are stepping up to be pastors so there's a void of good leadership in many churches nowadays.

this is a topic that most modern-day churches seem to ignore. God has a divine order and it is beyond time and culture. Leadership or headship was always been reserved for the males (high priest, Rabbi's, Officers, General's, etc) and there were no rebuttals for centuries until the 20th century. Now we live in a society where you can be and do whatever the heart desires to do while also ignore God's divine order in favor for emotionalism and sensationalism.

Paul also says that anyone who is divorced can not be a leader in the church, and anyone who has a sin they don't repent from should be kicked out of the church. It's interesting the rules people choose to follow and not follow.

1 Corinthians 14 : 33-40 1 Timothy 2 : 11,10 If this was written about any other commandment, and labeled as such, there wouldn't be any issue. When Paul addresses women not taking authority in 2Timothy, he takes us back to Genesis. He therefore isn't just saying something about women from that time, but from all time. He uses the woman's taking of leadership in the garden as an origin and example for the man to stand up and righteously do what he was MADE to do. Different roles at home and in church, but equal in Christ. God bless you all.

The Scriptures are very clear for a deacon's stature and capacity in 1Timothy. A deacon is to be the husband of one wife--period! It's not really fair for the video presenter to breakdown the Scriptures to degrees of authoritative holding between the male & female genders. I mean, does he really think the Saint Apostle Paul would have even cared about that?! But that's what happens when you combine the Scriptures with modern-day values and educated guesses. What's with all the people in the comments demanding a quick answer? As if this topic has not caused a lot of hurt and confusion. It demands careful examination. If you do not allow the space needed to carefully discuss the truth and what the Scripture means, then you are not acting in love. This answer seems as sure and comprehensive a one as you are liable to get in the space of a ten minute video, and it is delivered with quite a bit of awareness of why this question is important. Pay attention to the needs of love rather than getting into such insensitive huffs.

In 1 Corinthians 14 Paul discusses the matter of spiritual gifts in the first century church. After instructing the church that those who speak in tongues had to "keep silent" if there was no interpreter, and that one prophet had to "keep silent" if another prophet was speaking, he says, "Let your women keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak; but they are to be submissive, as the law also says. And if they want to learn something, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for women to speak in church." (1 Corinthians 14:34-35). To this passage is attached the following admonition, "If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord." (1 Cor. 14:37).

As soon as this guy said Apostles are done away with I had to leave. God has given us Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Teachers and Pastors for the perfecting of the saints. The scriptures prove this guy incorrect from the jump. May God enlighten him to the truth.

"Women pastors / preachers? Can a woman be a pastor or preacher?" Answer: There is perhaps no more hotly debated issue in the church today than the issue of women serving as pastors/preachers. As a result, it is very important to not see this issue as men versus women. There are women who believe women should not serve as pastors and that the Bible places restrictions on the ministry of women, and there are men who believe women can serve as preachers and that there are no restrictions on women in ministry. This is not an issue of chauvinism or discrimination. It is an issue of biblical interpretation. The Word of God proclaims, “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11-12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. This is a result of the way mankind was created and the way in which sin entered the world (1 Timothy 2:13-14). God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching and/or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, which definitely includes preaching to them, teaching them publicly, and exercising spiritual authority over them. There are many objections to this view of women in pastoral ministry. A common one is that Paul restricts women from teaching because in the first century, women were typically uneducated. However, 1 Timothy 2:11-14 nowhere mentions educational status. If education were a qualification for ministry, then the majority of Jesus’ disciples would not have been qualified. A second common objection is that Paul only restricted the women of Ephesus from teaching men (1 Timothy was written to Timothy, the pastor of the church in Ephesus). Ephesus was known for its temple to Artemis, and women were the authorities in that branch of paganism-therefore, the theory goes, Paul was only reacting against the female-led customs of the Ephesian idolaters, and the church needed to be different. However, the book of 1 Timothy nowhere mentions Artemis, nor does Paul mention the standard practice of Artemis worshipers as a reason for the restrictions in 1 Timothy 2:11-12. A third objection is that Paul is only referring to husbands and wives, not men and women in general. The Greek words for “woman” and “man” in 1 Timothy 2 could refer to husbands and wives; however, the basic meaning of the words is broader than that. Further, the same Greek words are used in verses 8-10. Are only husbands to lift up holy hands in prayer without anger and disputing (verse 8)? Are only wives to dress modestly, have good deeds, and worship God (verses 9-10)? Of course not. Verses 8-10 clearly refer to all men and women, not just husbands and wives. There is nothing in the context that would indicate a narrowing to husbands and wives in verses 11-14. Yet another objection to this interpretation of women in pastoral ministry is in relation to women who held positions of leadership in the Bible, specifically Miriam, Deborah, and Huldah in the Old Testament. It is true that these women were chosen by God for special service to Him and that they stand as models of faith, courage, and, yes, leadership. However, the authority of women in the Old Testament is not relevant to the issue of pastors in the church. The New Testament Epistles present a new paradigm for God’s people-the church, the body of Christ-and that paradigm involves an authority structure unique to the church, not for the nation of Israel or any other Old Testament entity. Similar arguments are made using Priscilla and Phoebe in the New Testament. In Acts 18, Priscilla and Aquila are presented as faithful ministers for Christ. Priscilla’s name is mentioned first, perhaps indicating that she was more prominent in ministry than her husband. Did Priscilla and her husband teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to Apollos? Yes, in their home they “explained to him the way of God more adequately” (Acts 18:26). Does the Bible ever say that Priscilla pastored a church or taught publicly or became the spiritual leader of a congregation of saints? No. As far as we know, Priscilla was not involved in ministry activity in contradiction to 1 Timothy 2:11-14. In Romans 16:1, Phoebe is called a “deacon” (or “servant”) in the church and is highly commended by Paul. But, as with Priscilla, there is nothing in Scripture to indicate that Phoebe was a pastor or a teacher of men in the church. “Able to teach” is given as a qualification for elders, but not for deacons (1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:6-9). The structure of 1 Timothy 2:11-14 makes the reason why women cannot be pastors perfectly clear. Verse 13 begins with “for,” giving the “cause” of Paul’s statement in verses 11-12. Why should women not teach or have authority over men? Because “Adam was created first, then Eve. And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived” (verses 13-14). God created Adam first and then created Eve to be a “helper” for Adam. The order of creation has universal application in the family (Ephesians 5:22-33) and in the church. The fact that Eve was deceived is also given in 1 Timothy 2:14 as a reason for women not serving as pastors or having spiritual authority over men. This does not mean that women are gullible or that they are all more easily deceived than men. If all women are more easily deceived, why would they be allowed to teach children (who are easily deceived) and other women (who are supposedly more easily deceived)? The text simply says that women are not to teach men or have spiritual authority over men because Eve was deceived. God has chosen to give men the primary teaching authority in the church. Many women excel in gifts of hospitality, mercy, teaching, evangelism, and helping/serving. Much of the ministry of the local church depends on women. Women in the church are not restricted from public praying or prophesying (1 Corinthians 11:5), only from having spiritual teaching authority over men. The Bible nowhere restricts women from exercising the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12). Women, just as much as men, are called to minister to others, to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), and to proclaim the gospel to the lost (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; 1 Peter 3:15). God has ordained that only men are to serve in positions of spiritual teaching authority in the church. This is not because men are necessarily better teachers or because women are inferior or less intelligent (which is not the case). It is simply the way God designed the church to function. Men are to set the example in spiritual leadership-in their lives and through their words. Women are to take a less authoritative role. Women are encouraged to teach other women (Titus 2:3-5). The Bible also does not restrict women from teaching children. The only activity women are restricted from is teaching or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors to men. This does not make women less important, by any means, but rather gives them a ministry focus more in agreement with God’s plan and His gifting of them.

Not according to God's Word. Remember: Eve was deceived and Adam was not. I am a woman, and this has absolutely nothing to do with equal rights. It has to do with God's order in the church. I think the body of Christ is failing to remember that Christ is the head of the church and we as members comprise the body. Man has no right to usurp authority over Christ. But it's happening all the time, everywhere in the churches. And that is in direct disobedience to Christ himself. He is the head and Savior of the body. but if we go back to the Book of Genesis, let's not forget the curse that God spoke over women. Who Says Women Can’t Pastor? A Biblical Exposition Showing That Women Too Are Called to Leadership by Eddie L. Hyatt D.Min., M.Div., M.A. I had just completed a teaching session in which I had explained why 1 Tim. 2:11-12 does not prohibit women from functioning in leadership roles in the Church. One student, who was obviously disturbed, challenged me with a question. “Can you show me one place in the New Testament where a woman ever functioned as a pastor?” I replied, “If you will first show me one place where a man ever functioned as a pastor!” He was stunned in that he could not think of a single example. Women Pastors in the NT There are numerous women leaders in the New Testament, some who obviously functioned in pastoral roles of oversight. Paul mentions 2 of these female pastors in Rom. 16 as well as a female apostle. Phoebe, a Woman Pastor In Romans 16:1 Paul commends to the church at Rome our sister Phoebe who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea. Paul refers to Phoebe as a servant which is the Greek word diakonos. Diakonos, or its verb form, is translated minister in 23 other places in the New Testament. For example, in Eph. 3:7, Paul says that he became a minister (diakonos) according to the gift of the grace of God. Phoebe, therefore, was a minister, probably a pastor, from the church in Cenchrea. This is borne out by vs. 2 where Paul refers to her as a helper of many and of myself also. The Greek word translated helper in this verse is prostates and, according to Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon, means to set over, to rule, superintend, preside over, protect, and care for. When this passage is examined apart from our traditions and prejudicial assumptions, the evidence is overwhelming that Phoebe functioned in what today we would call pastoral ministry. Priscilla, A Woman Pastor In verses 3-5 of the same chapter, Paul refers to Priscilla and Aquila and the church that is in their house. Priscilla and Aquila are always mentioned together in Scripture which indicates that they worked and ministered together as a husband and wife team. This is confirmed by Acts 18:26 where both Priscilla and Aquila took Apollos aside and both explained to him the way of God more accurately. In the Greek, Priscilla is always mentioned first. Since Paul reversed the culturally accepted manner of mentioning the husband first, he obviously wanted to make a point about her leadership role. Many commentators conclude that Priscilla is mentioned first because she was the spiritually gifted one and the leader of the church that met in their home. Again, the evidence is overwhelming. Priscilla functioned as a pastor. Junia, A Woman Apostle In verse 7 of the same chapter, Paul sends greetings to Andronicus and Junia who are of note among the apostles. Junia is a feminine name and so we have here a woman who is recognized by Paul as an apostle. The early church father, John Chrysostom, commenting on this verse, said, "Oh how great is the devotion of this woman, that she should be even counted worthy of the appellation of apostle." If a woman can function as an apostle, may not she also function as a pastor. What About 1 Timothy 2:11-12? "But,” some will ask, “What about Paul's admonitions in I Corinthians 14:34 and I Timothy 2:12 for women to be silent?" For the sake of space, we will look at 1 Tim. 2:11-12 which many consider to be the Bible’s clearest statement against women functioning in leadership. It says, Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. On the surface and out of context, this passage sounds quite clear in its restriction of women. But a different picture emerges when we consider four simple exegetical facts. 1 Timothy Was Written To An Individual, Not To A Church First of all, the letter of 1 Timothy was written to an individual, not to a church. We should expect, therefore, that the things written in the letter are related to the situation of the individual, i.e. Timothy, to whom it was written. It is a “personal” letter. 1 Timothy Addresses A Personal, Local Situation in Ephesus Secondly, vs. 3 of chpt. 1 clearly states the reason for this letter to Timothy. It is not to lay down a universal system of church order. It is to encourage and instruct him as he deals with a false teaching that is circulating among the Christians in Ephesus where he is located. This requires rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim. 2:15). Paul obviously was not issuing universal edicts for all churches of every time and place. He is addressing unique issues related to Timothy and the church in Ephesus. A Strange Greek Word That Paul is addressing a unique situation in Ephesus is further borne out by the fact that the word “authority” in 2:12 is a translation of the Greek word authentein which is found only here in the entire New Testament. If Paul is here giving a universal edict for church order, why doesn’t he use the normal word for authority, exousia, which he and all other New Testament writers use. Why does he here use a word that neither he nor any other New Testament writer ever uses--a word that refers to someone who claims to be the author or originator of something. The obvious answer is that Paul is here dealing with the unique situation that exists in Ephesus. If Paul had been giving a universal rule for church order in this passage, he would have used the normal New Testament word for authority. Paul May Have Been Addressing A Particular Woman in Ephesus Fourthly, this view is borne out by the fact that there is a change from the plural to the singular and then back to the plural in this passage. In vss. 9-10 of chpt. 2, Paul refers to “women” in the plural. But when he comes to the restrictive admonition of vss. 11-12, he changes to the singular and refers to “a woman.” Afterwards, in vs. 15, he returns again to the plural. This may indicate that, in writing this passage, Paul had a particular woman in mind who was primarily responsible for spreading the false teaching in Ephesus. Be that as it may, Paul, in this passage, is obviously addressing a unique, local situation in the city of Ephesus. So, who says women can’t pastor? Not Jesus! Not Paul! And not the New Testament!

There were definitely deaconesses in the early church in many areas, so I think it would be reasonable to have women serve in the diaconate (but not as a transitional deacon on the way to priesthood). It wouldn't surprise me if we see this change within the Catholic Church within my lifetime.

The Facts that Blessed Mary found "FAVOR" from God and "FULL OF GRACE" from the Holy Spirit who was the FIRST Christian who BELIEVED and ACCEPTED God's WILL without any reservation, to the point of putting herself in danger (harm's way) of being stoned to death for accepting the TASK given unto her by saying to Angel Gabriel, "I am the HANDMADE of the Lord God, be it done according to thy WORDS."... She should/must be the ROLE MODEL for all Christian WOMEN that in spite of having a Highly Favored Status in the Eyes of God, she modestly/humbly had KEPT quiet/silent in the CHURCH of God in Christ Jesus till her death... You also have to look at the Greek gender of the word used. For office if elder, it's male gender. For office of deacon, it's gender neutral (diakanos).

Answer me this, growing up my pastors have told me anyone who believes in God can get into Heaven as long as you believe and except him as your lord and savior, and the same pastors have told me that even murderers can get in if they except Jesus, I was told even Hitler could get in, but a man who loves another man is a no no, that can’t be forgiven, or a woman wants to preach because she loves God and wants to spread the good word is also a no no, what happened to God loving all his children, but his daughter wants to spread his word, and his some loves a man, this a very very hypocritical religion. Joel 2:28; Acts 2:17-18: God said he will pour His Spirit out on people and men and women will prophesy and be servants. Pastoring (or being a special leader, a Shepherd), Deacon (or special servant) is a gift of the Holy Spirit. If I'm reading the Holy Scriptures correctly in context, God said it will be poured out on all people men and women. Women can be a pastor and Deacon, it's biblical because that gift is from the Spirit, God's Holy Spirit.

What a gracious way of covering a topic that can be challenging for folks. One point he didn't mention: The same term for "helper" used in Genesis to describe Eve is also used to describe God! Does that sound like a demeaning term to you? Different roles, equal value. We need leaders. We need helpers. God know best.

“Let deacons each be the husband of one wife, managing their children and their own households well.” 1 Timothy 3:12 Clearly, Paul intends to communicate that only men can be deacons, so in the previous verse it should be translated “their wives.” A man can be disqualified from serving as a deacon if his wife is not faithful in all things. A woman cannot be the husband of one wife. Therefore, only men can serve as pastors or deacons. In verse 5, managing one’s household well as the spiritual leader in the home is necessary before a man can care for God’s church. Therefore, only those who are spiritual leaders in the home can serve as spiritual leaders in the church. In all respect, this is very clear.

Titus 2:3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

I would say that based on the text women would not be allowed to be deacons or any type of leader role where a man would be over them. Because Paul says teach or have authority over a man, also they are suppose to learn quietly and submissively under the men. Also under the qualifications of deacons it says husbands of one wife just like the elders have to be; in the preceding passage. This structure would be likened to the church from its origin, only men serving in the house of God in an office manner (Aaron and his sons/Levites). This has been since the beginning. My best advise to everyone isngo before God and find out for yourself if women can be pastors, elders or whatever in ministry.....don't misunderstanding God's word

While the ministry of women is essential to the church’s proper working and health, only men are given the responsibility to serve as pastors and elders. Although Scripture is quite clear on this point, there are many individuals, churches, and denominations that choose to disobey the Lord’s will in this regard and allow women to function in pastoral and teaching roles. But God’s church will be blessed and will honor Him only as it follows the plan He has revealed in the Bible. The clearest biblical teaching on this issue is found in 1 Timothy 2:12: “But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet.” This command comes in a section of 1 Timothy which teaches about the functioning of a local church. Some people believe when the apostle Paul wrote that a woman should not “teach or exercise authority over a man,” he was conforming to a unique situation in the city of Ephesus or to the cultural value system of the time, but that is not the case. Notice in the next verse Paul refers back to God’s original design for man and woman: “For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve” (1 Timothy 2:13). This proves God wants His created design of male leadership and female submission in the family to extend into the functioning of the church. On certain issues, the concerns and goals of the modern feminist agenda are in agreement with God’s standards. For instance, they agree women should not be discriminated against in the workplace but should be afforded equal opportunities with men. They also rightfully condemn violence against women. At the same time, however, the modern feminist movement frequently contradicts Scripture regarding the roles of women. For instance, some of the key goals of feminism are to protect a woman’s right to abort her baby, to affirm lesbianism, and to promote the idea that there is no distinction between men and women’s leadership roles in the family and the church. These contradictions with God’s Word are not incidental but evidence a fundamental error in feminist philosophy which can be traced back to the original fall of mankind into sin. The events recorded in Genesis 3 explain how the feminists’ opposition to God’s plan began. When God created Adam and Eve, He designed a productive and perfect balance between the nurturing leadership of a man and the supportive following of a woman in marriage. After God created Adam, He said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him” (Genesis 2:18). A few verses later we read how God created Eve: “So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. The man said, ‘This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’ For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:21-24). When Adam and Eve sinned, God’s perfect plan was perverted by the depravity in the hearts of men and women. Adam sinned by stepping out from under God’s authority when he ate the divinely forbidden fruit, and Eve chose to reject the authority of both Adam and the Lord. One of the consequences of their sin was the corruption of the complementary relationship between man and woman. Genesis 3:16 records what the Lord told Eve: “Yet your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.” The desire Eve would have toward Adam is not a good kind of desire but a desire to conquer or overcome. You can see this in Genesis 4:7 where the same word describes what sin would do to Cain: “Sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it” [emphasis added]. From that time on, one of the expressions of sin in women would be the tendency to break out of God’s intended supporting and following role. At the same time, men’s sinful tendency would be to neglect their responsibility to love and lead their wives, dominating them instead. God’s perfect plan can be implemented and enjoyed in marriages and churches only when sinners receive new hearts of humility and obedience. It is only when men and women submit to God’s way that they will experience the greatest blessing. The differing roles of men and women in marriage and the church should not lead us to believe there is any kind of inequality personally or spiritually between the genders. In the Word of God the principles of gender equality and women’s submission exist side by side. Genesis 1:26-27 reads, “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’ God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Men and women are created equally with a likeness to God. They share dominion over all creation and are both commanded to rule over it. The second chapter of Genesis contains a more detailed recounting of the creation of Adam and Eve in which we see the divinely ordained functional ordering of leadership and submission between man and woman. Adam was created first (2:7), and Eve was created later in order to be a complement and helper to him (2:20-23). It is this creation order Paul mentions to support God’s intention for male leadership in the church (1 Timothy 2:13). This is the reason why the roles of pastors and elders are limited to men in the church.

I myself enjoy it when a person give there view on biblical question, but yes the answer is no,

God said it plainly, "A woman can never be in a position that has authority over a man." I'm not being mean, but the Word makes it clear that a woman cannot be a Pastor or a Deacon.

And the answer is YES, woman can be pastors, deacons, or whatever needs to be in the church. Marie was even the mother of the Son of God, no man could have been that....😉 So by faith and using our brain we accepted the Bible is inspired by God. Let's continue like the, faith + brain, continue to read and understand it. In the whole Bible there isn't a clear condamnation if slavery. But we add texts and by faith + brain, we understand slavery is wrong....let's continue like that to everything we read. We are all one in Christ, Gal 3:28, and 1 Cor 12. Jesus said that who wants to be important in heaven needs to serve the most people possible.....woman and man can serve all, so they will be important......don't let people manipulate you because of their desire of power, control or manipulate.... Faith + brain, and serve Jesus.

Take Note: The first True Christian believer was Blessed Mary who found favor from God, with full of grace, and knew more Spiritual matters than any of the 12 Apostles, but who kept SILENT/ QUIET in the Church of God in Christ, to set an example to all Christian women... which was how God wants for Christian women to learn modesty and obedience to God... This is such a misunderstood topic. Many people seem to think the scripture clearly says women cannot do certain roles, yet no one cannot provide one verse that says these roles (elder, pastor, or overseer) must be by a "male." The Bible actually says: "Here is a trustworthy saying: "Whoever" aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task." - 1 atimothy 3:1 Just because a command is given in the masculine, does not mean it only applies to males. What about this command: "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." - Ephesians 6:4 Does this really only apply to Father's? So it is okay for mothers to provoke their children to anger or not discipline them or bring them up in the instruction of the Lord? No. We are both, mothers and fathers called to do this. Another example: "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her." - Ephesians 5:25 Does this mean women don't have to love their husband's like Christ loved the church. No. We are supposed to love them that way as well. In fact a command is given directly from Jesus to "all His disciples" (that includes: "Then Jesus said to those Jews who "believed Him", "If you abide in "My word", you are "My disciples" indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:31-32) This is the command: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” - John 13:34-35 God is not partial, man is: "Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism, but accepts from every nation the "one who fears Him" and does what is right." - Acts 10:34-35 This passage that this preacher is addressing is a hard to understand passage that this pastor should have done more research on. In chapter 1 of 1st Timothy you see the reason Paul is writing this letter, it is to address false teachers. He names 2 male false teachers in chapter 1, because the are willfully rejecting the truth. He addresses an unnamed "woman" because she is also teaching false things, but it is because of ignorance and apparently she is domineering over her husband "a man". He is telling her to learn the truth first, before preaching wrong things. He doesn't name her or her husband because she is not willfully teaching wrong things, but rather out of ignorance, like Eve. She sinned in ignorance as opposed to Adam who sinned willfully. That is why a blessing came through "the womans" seed, and the only 2 curses given where because of what Satan did (curse on animals) and because of what Adam did (curse on ground, this curse was broken after the flood).

I am a Christian woman and I don’t agree for women to be pastors or deacons in a church. I will not join a church that has a woman pastor. What I agree with is for women to teach Sunday school. Women should stop looking for arguments that we can do anything a man can do, verychildish. Thank you for this video and for your explanations. My full faith is in the word of GOD. No more arguments.

I serve as a deacon at my church and I agree with this video. Women cannot be pastors because we can not lead over men because God placed men in that role but we can be servants within the church and work in the role of deacon.

I see at least one flaw in your overall argument. Paul is, throughout his writing, fairly clear on when something he says is what God wants versus what he, Paul, thinks. This one falls under what Paul allows, not what God requires or desires.

The husband of 1 wife isn't hard to understand that women can't be husbands of 1 wife.

Women are not called to preach. The answer is 100 per - cent NO.
