If you want to know how to catch fish on the patch reefs in minutes and have your own snapper or grunt catch and cook by doing this. Go to a patch reef in the Florida Keys and anchor up-current of a patch reef and put a chum bag out. You should have snapper, grunts and all sorts of fish show up behind the boat. Throw a hook with some cut bait back and wait to hook up!

This is a snapper taco catch n cook that was going to be at the sandbar but I decided to make it a catch clean cook at the house so I have better audio. After all a good fishing video has good audio so we saved the partying for the sandbar and the fishing and cooking for somewhere less noisy.
The Florida keys patch reef fishing is an easy way to catch fish. There are patch reefs off Key Largo, Tavernier, Islamorada and really off all of the Florida keys it's perfect for fishing and this video will show you how to catch fish when you're in the keys

Appreciate all the fishing advice, sincerely. I do have a question though…how do you get to catch and cook on the boat? FWC warns us to never have filets on the boat. We’re told to hit the dock before we can clean and even then, don’t go out with filets.

I am watching your video now and was wondering if the fish tasted OK because you said it smelled funny,bad? And then you said when you were cleaning it it had spots on it. Do you think they were parasites? Do you think they were that type of fish that’s having that spinning problem, I’m really worried about that problem. I fish up in Cape Canaveral. I love fishing. We need to get to the bottom of the spinning fish problem.

6:35 Your analysis on the anchor/drift pattern is not correct. The boat may be angled one way due to the winds, but the actual current is another. The winds vary and cause the boat to be angled all which way, but the current tends to be going in a consistent direction. For your area, you ought to be south or southwest of the desired structure.
