I want Ten Hag to do well & I want him to turn this around but its hard to see any change next August. Unless the club is in dire straits from boardroom down & no manager could turn this but the facts are there. Going back to Brentford away last year I have never seen a professional team in any sport be so poor, they looked unfit,no motivation and completely disorganised. 2 years later & there is no change. Whenever we lose the PR team kicks in first Ronaldo, then Harry McG loses captaincy,then Sancho,then Rashford,now injuries.The signings have been catastrophic one disaster after another...From Onana to Antony they all seem to love talking & doing little on the field.INEOS criticising staff etc. worry's me that they could be even worse - how could any team at a professional have so many injuries - the coaching team at fault here / crazy stuff

Tbh I think the whole Southgate thing is probably just lazy journalism because he happens to know Ashworth but either way the present sittuation isn't working, so not working to a small chance it might work is progress. In the end we'll see but it makes no sense to me to fuss about something that may not even happen when the present sittuation is worse than its ever been since the Premier league started.

Adam- If you can recall a lengthy interview with Sam Luckhurst of the MEN on 22nd Feb 2024 with Sir JIm , it was stated during that interview that INEOS will be dictating the style of play and the transfer targets and the manager will be a coach. On that basis Gareth Southgate or Graham Potter would fit their criteria as they are both yes men

hey adam ,,,i was chatting with an explayer ,,,legendary player for mufc ...stopped for few beers ,,and talk about the state of the club . he was giving me some very interesting tidbits .....now i cant reveil his name. you understand the embarrassment it may caused ..........SHEEEEESH. If INEOS are so arrogant/confident(we'll found out which soon enough), to believe that they'll handle all the comings and goings, and just want someone to stand on the touchline with his hand on his chin, Southgate or Potter might be the only sort of people who'd accept that??? A strong willed character that wants to stamp his authority and backs his own judgement might be surplus to requirements??? If player power wins United lose......

there is no way that ineos will hire a sub par manager....if we still had the clueless woodsy and company ,,,then i could see that .since they know nothing of football, i bet they never watch a match unless its a freebie for a photo op . ineos team that ratcliffe is putting together has some good football thinkers , so not to be embarrassed , they will get a proven man .

Southgate has risen through the ranks developing England youth, and then a WC Semi and Euro Final. Outside of Sir Alf, the greatest English manager in history. He & McClaren would turn United into Champions again.

As a player let's be honest he was pretty unknown & bang average. I reckon ten hag could do a better job with that England team if he was in charge of it

Ten Hag, name a manager that would be better, Southgate no, Tuchel Munich no trophy for first time in over 40 years, personally i think if ETH is sacked Hansi Flick is the best option, won everything vast experience

@@k4yser if Ineos hadn't bought part of MUFC they'd probably be finished, I'm hopeful they'll turn it around but it won't be without pain and not a quick process with everything that needs dealing with
