Next time you're at Wally World, pick up "Libman 8 Foot Telescopic Window Washer Squeegee" for $21. That and a good spray bottle you can fill with Windex or equivalent. I can spray all the windshield from the ground, then clean it with my own squeegee (never abused my flip flops). Well worth the $ and storage space.

On my T680, I open the hood and climb up on the tires and spray windex on the windshield and wipe it with microfiber cloth to clean it. Got into lovebugs in Florida last week.

I have a 579 midroof pulling an all aluminum 48’ Ravens flat and we weigh in just under 30k full of gear (with an APU). Ravens are relatively heavy flatbeds too… Xtreme is lighter. I just sold my step deck a week ago. Flatbed is my weapon of choice.

Rent a flatbed and give it a try. My 2005 W900 and 48’ aluminum flatbed weighs 30,660 lbs with 150 gallons of fuel for reference.

Spray glass cleaner on outside windshield. Let it soak for couple mins until it almost dries. Respray or go ahead and hit wipers and washer fluid. I use the foam window cleaner. Works fantastic if you let it sit.

Wet down paper towel......lay on windshield for a few minutes....throw a few water bottles across the top....use towels to wipe big bugs off after they turn soft...easy cleaning then

Aluminum trailers is the best for flatbed and step deck and if you can get a camstoga tarp system so you don't have to tarp you can do it sell your mack and your still trailer and buy aluminum one

One particular rest area having the rest rooms closed should not send you into an emotional and political tailspin. Ease on down, ease on down the road. Always have a Plan B and a Plan C. Needing to drive to the next place with a bathroom is not a crisis. Or just get yourself a collapsible plastic stool with potty seat, I bought one on Amazon for $17, delivered, including a roll of poo bags that the seat holds in place.

Just watch out for the hide they shape into bones etc.I wouldn't give my dog Hide products the white chew bones etc, can not be digested and if they swallow large un-chewed bits that has to go through there digestive system especially as they get older, plus they get slimy Cheers Mick

Actually there’s a truck stop at the next exit. 🤷🏻‍♂️ If you had gone north on Rt 4 there’s a small fuel stop just 5 miles up the road. Mexican restaurant and a couple fast food joints within walking distance.

If trucking is so bad get out of it. You complain about too many trucks with ramps and people running for low rates...it's capitalism man. Amazon is in the freight biz now too, just going to drive rates lower. Get a job with a company where you live, be home every night, and have a thousand fewer things to worry about. The stress isn't worth it.
