This is by far THE BEST Station Saturday presentation EVER . He did an Outstanding , Excellent discussion about the various aspects of not only Station 39 but also of the Fire apparatus and their uses on all types of fires. Well done, even the discussion about the Baristas at Station 38 !

I had to laugh a few times during this and enjoyed the two "work outs in wildland gear" and really loved the guy in the drop water tank getting a tan. This was a great Station Saturday and keep them coming.

I was a big fan of the tuxedo wearing barista from station 38 so I felt like they deserved a shout out. Their background science experiment was also very funny.

I live about 2 miles from station 39, and see Engine 39 responding up Highway 85 quite a bit along with Medic 36. That’s pretty cool that they assist West Douglas quite a bit😎

great vlog steve whitehead has alot of experience with the camera im not sure if he still does this but he did alot of work with ems 1 remember 2 things and he also did a lot of ems con ed with doctor Tan he is very good with explaining and keeping the viewer into the training. I did not know he was on south metro thought very intresting

Awesome video, would have thought that would have had more then one brush truck cause of the area. Question are there any South Metro Fire Station that have two brush applications or are mainly wildland, What the different between Type 3 and Type 6 Brush truck?

Thanks! Great question, there aren't any stations at SMFR with 2 brush apparatus assigned. At SMFR a Type 3 is called "Brush Engine" and a Type 6 is called "Brush. The Type 3 is bigger, carries more water and equipment and is designed for urban interface fires. The Type 6 is smaller and designed for more off-road tasks.
