They swear FL 11 "has a different sound", but in reality it's just that the default FL 11 template has Fruity Limiter on the Master track. So these producers that don't know the first thing about mixing a beat just crank up their 808s and other drums and it's not clipping because of the limiter. His ass needs to update and adapt and learn the new features.

I couldn't even tell myself or anyone else that I "created" a specific beat because that wouldn't be true. Nowadays, there are too many self-proclaimed "beatmakers" who exclusively rely on loops because they don't know and have no desire to learn how to create their own track from scratch, yet they call themselves "producers" and "beatmakers." If I were to work like that, I wouldn't do it at all because no sane person sees any purpose in it.
