Southview Leisure Resort Skegness | The Best Family Resort in Skegness? | Parkdean Resorts
We had a short 4 night stay at Southview Resort, caravan park in Skegness.
Costing us just over £300 in high season (August), we thought this was great value.
In this video, we will take you around some of the park facilities so you can get a feel for the resort.
The caravan we were offered was a 2 berth, dog friendly caravan, which was very clean and didn't smell of a 4-legged friend.
The site is around 10 minutes drive to Skegness seafront.

Cool opening shot. I love the flowers in the front and the waterfall in the back. The resort looks nice. The grounds have lots of water with geese to walk around. The living conditions are clean and cozy. Thanks for the tour. I liked and subscribed. 👍

Thanks Craig. We enjoyed our stay, the first time I'd stayed in Skegness. We have stayed in a Parkdean Resort before and find them good value.

Thanks for watching Anita. Skegness is a very commercialised resort (arcades, bars, restaurants and fun fair etc) so this was a nice site, very relaxing. I really enjoyed all of the lakes and the ducks and geese on them.

This is a beautiful and relaxing place. I would 💯 enjoy such a place. I am glad you enjoyed it. Never been to Skegness before so it was great seeing the park through your eyes. Well done Andy!

Great idea with the TV QR code! Looks like a nice family getaway resort with nice accomodations, plenry to do around rhe resort, and nice to have a shuttle bus into town for more activities. Thanks for look around Andrew! Hooe you are doing well, have a great weekend!

Look at those colours 😊 so pleasing to the eye, not to mention how relaxing this park is! The resort looks very family friendly indeed, the houses are lovely, the pond and the garden amazing, and it looks very clean! Oh, I haven’t seen that QR code before, but it’s a good idea 😊

We have stayed at a few Parkdean sites and I like the 3 night weekends or 4 night weekday stay idea. I can't fault them for the price (though Fallbarrow at Bowness is quite pricey). They make a great base for day tours, especially when we go on our motorbikes. Great video Andrew. This looks like a very big site! Keith

Thanks Keith. It is a good size, there were a few other facilities I didn't find, like the gym 😀 . We paid just over £300 in the middle of August for a 4 night stay. I think that was a good deal.

It was better than we expected, being in the middle of the summer season we thought it might have been a bit loud with all the kids but it was actually very relaxing and a great base to explore the area. Thanks for watching.

@jeffshaw4553 Yes, there is a bus to Skegness, I'm not sure how often the service runs as we just used our car.

Would love to spend a few nights in Skegness, definitely a lot to do there to occupy the time. Like the tv QR code to subscribe! Lots to do on this park! Great review, lush looking caravan.

Thanks for watching, guys. We spent 4 nights there, cost us just over £300 which we thought was good value in the middle of the school holidays, cheaper than a travel lodge type hotel too!

Thanks, Steve. This was my very first trip to Skeggy, but my Mrs has been there a few times with her residents in her previous job. I thought this site was pretty good, and Skegness, on the whole, was a great resort.

We went two years in a row for out hols but has to be almost 365 years ago now. We stopped in town and in not the best accommodation (all I could afford at the time) but the park where you stopped looked very nice, real plush and colourful - is it still 'Bracing' there? Cheers Alan

I'd imagine this month is probably is a bit bracing in Skeggy. Last month though, you'd think we were in the Med, It was boiling. The park was pretty good, nicely laid out, plenty to do for families. The caravan was great, although the Mrs insisted on not using the kitchen and we ate out. 😃 Thanks for watching Alan, I'm still playing catch up with everyone's content at the moment.
