This is a domestic flight trip report from William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) in Houston Texas to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) Phoenix Arizona (plane model: Boeing 737-800) on Southwest Airlines 4778. The duration of this fight was 3 hours and 20 minutes (flight was suppose to be two hours). The plane was delayed at Hobby Airport due to a storm. After the storm, the plane departed almost an hour late.
On this flight journey, I flew Business Select. The benefits of Business Select are:
- Priority boarding*
- One compliment alcohol/wine drink
- Extra points for Southwest Rewards
* Note that Southwest has no assign seats. You can sit any available seat (except the emergency rows; unless if you are willing to help out during the evacuation).
The leg room was decent but the seats can get a little uncomfortable after sitting more than three hours.
What I love about Southwest Airlines (other than the low fares) is that the crew have a great sense of humor. Despite of the storm delays, the flight attendants had an energetic and optimistic attitudes.
