"Souvenirs" is a song written by Cy Coben and originally recorded by Barbara Evans in 1959. Later the song was adapted into French by Fernand Bonifay. French rockstar Johnny Hallyday released it (under the title "Souvenirs, souvenirs") as an EP in 1960.
This video was shot at the Keep in Brooklyn by Edward Bally and Stephen Lamarche, recorded by Adrien Chevalier.

Tatiana´s voice and smile are her signature. She looks in this video like Betty Boop. She is always captivating to her audience. Much success to Tatiana and the excellent Avalon band.

She sings from the Souveniers of the old star of the 50´s and 60`s. ... they all leave something behind, the big ones in this world. And these are the souvenirs that you can get everywhere ...;) An old song from Germany from the 60`s. Sung by Bill Ramsey. An American soldier who stayed here after his service and became a celebrated star of the German hit + Jazz;) He was also incredibly good at it;) Greetings from Germany. As ever, transported by Tatiana, and what a gorgeous sax solo. And the band is sublime as ever, that violin solo, perfect! Bass, rhythm, perfect. If I ever get given a billion dollars to make a film, these are in it.

Tatian Eva-Marie's on-stage persona is a fabulous re-definition of feminity: Exuberant, self-assured, un-burdened, and un-apologetic. You can take it or leave it. I'm taking every bit of it.

Not too long ago Walt Disney created animations accompanying fine music. It expanded the audience as well as producing understanding and delight to those with less experience of musical genres. The delightful lady fronting this exquisite ensemble in a similar manner takes center stage as she embodies the joy & vitality of what this ensemble is all about. The beauty and talent initially catches us, then draws us into appreciating the sax, the fiddle, the bass, the guitar and accordion's genius supporting her words. What joy this business of yours, wonderful musicians and thank you so much for your research, your practice which created this gift.

I have a new favorite band. I dearly love the talented musicians and Tatian's exuberance. It's getting harder and harder find quality music. The Avalon Jazz band is a reminds me how good music can be and how music can lift your spirits.
