@@thomasb7347 Even when it doesn't convince the defendant, I think there is still some utility for others who might see it later. Often when a judge simple ignores the arguments it is held up as proof that the arguments are valid and the judge is dishonestly skipping over them, which can play well to a certain audience. I think a judge actually addressing them might actually be listened to by some fence sitters and weaken proponents.

There are some people who you just need to stop trying to help in the way of trying to reason with them because there are people who’ll believe what they want to believe even if it means knowingly denying the truth and the only way to help them is to let them face the consequences of their decisions. In other words, if you can’t convince someone (such as a Sov Cit) that they’re wrong, let them destroy their own life. Tell everyone else “Here are the mistakes this person made. Look at the result. I'm pretty certain that the "claims" she doesn't want to file involve monetary fines she expects to be paid because charges have been made against her and the judge dismissed her "paperwork" motions. Her next step will be to place liens on the property of the judge, prosecutor, court clerk, complainants, and anyone else she can. Even after she's convicted, those liens are going to cause all sorts of problems for those persons until/unless they can be nipped in the bud.

"You just got Blandino'd. And you earned it." - Mike This is representative of why I love this channel. But my man...Mike....are you *sure* it's not pronounced GOE-tee-ay? If it's not, his ancestor sure let the clerk at Ellis Island fuck up his family's last name. The original French sounds so much better than that American bastardization. And on an unrelated note, if you do these from your office with that headset again, your input is SO much louder than the court audio. More court audio, less headset audio. Awesome everything else though!

@@LawTalkWithMike This is when I play the clip of you looking skeptical. Even if that's true, I refuse to engage in bastardization. It shall remain GOE-tee-aye for me.

You do you brother😂 That is a very common name up in those parts and that is how they say it. It is a clear departure from the original I agree.

I am not sure about her filings or claims, but if it was the usual bs about jurisdiction, which of course in SovTwit speak means AUTHORITY, the Judge was absolutely crystal clear on both. Well done Judge.

In some people defense, maybe they forget, or maybe they are on their way to an indoor place that is not a house and has policy so they put it before arriving. I'm not disagreeing with you about it generally a stupid thing to do in your own car alone. In her case? Seems more like an act of disrespect to the judge and the court, at least in my pov

I know you laugh, but I have to admit that on the the 3rd and 4th "motion". for the first time ever, the Judge actually addressed the motion with an excellent clear and concise reason why the motions were denied in simple understandable language. Most Judges just say "denied" and then move on. This time he actually explained why it was denied in terms that even I, a lay person could understand. I'm really giving th Jusge extra points for doing that. It made a rebuttal almost impossible.

Mark Bailey, I agree wholeheartedly. I do not think other judges are wrong nessasarly for simply denying "Notices",... I mean motions, as they are usually pressed for time with large call rosters. However, his affording an astute and easily understood explanation for each denial, speaks to his character as a judge, and his want to serve the individual as well as justice. Yet, his explanations could also be viewed as a tactical play as well. As once he provided explanations, how can anyone conjure an intelligible retort to his assertions and opinion on the matter(s). He actually saved time, by giving the explanations as to the W⁵+H (Who, What, When, Where, Why + How). He basically slammed the door (Nicely) on any future commentary on the matters, without outwardly demeaning her intellect or understanding of the information and its context. I, as I am sure others as well, will be waiting to see more from His Honor. Nicely done all the way around.

I am almost afraid to ask what her definition of a defendant is that has her so offended by it. The fact that the Judge has to explain (repeatedly) that it wasn’t an offer boggles my mind. The art of listening is truly lost on these folks. 🤦‍♀
