Aurora The Kitty .Lend lLease was only made available to the Soviet Union because Britian and the US wanted to save their own Butts. They left the Soviets to fight the Nazis alone for 3 yrs, and only entered the lEuropean land war in June 1944 when the Germans were in full retreat. You talk about lendlease as if it was a gift to Stalin however it was paid for in full and with 27,000,000 Soviet citizens lives. By comparison Britain and the US lost less than 1,000,000. Are you aware of the collaboration of Ford, GM, IBM and Standard Oil with the Nazis? No? Look it up!

It is a matter of great debate by historians exactly how much lead lease affected the soviet war effort. Personally i think the Soviets would have still won without the support but it would have extended the war
