I am also an prospective student and I would like to ask whether scholarship (~30k AUD per annum) is sufficient for a couple? Also, what kind of support is provided by the University after reaching there..for e.g. towards accommodation, transport etc.?

Glad you liked our content. For couple 30k is very tight at the current scenario. No, you have to look for yourself though you can apply for accommodation at university. Also, some universities do provide hop-on buses..

I have got admission to Griffith Business School for PhD but unfortunately, my application for PhD has been rejected. My supervisor advised me to start as a fee-paying student and will apply for the scholarship after publishing some journals here. Yes you can work along but it’s hard to get such jobs . As a student you are allowed to work 20 hrs per week normally but right now till June 2023 Australian government has no restrictions on working hrs. It will be very costly if you didn’t get any good job.

Australia is not issusing visa to Most Indian and Chinese PhD candidates currently. But they are not refusing either. They keep the application without an outcome until the candiate withdraws. However a small % of applications are issued a visa after several months.

Hi Souvik, I have been offered an industrial Ph.D. The university has asked me to apply for a VISA through a certified consultancy. I got married recently in Jan 2023. The consultancy says that I cannot bring my wife with me as our marriage is not one year old. I need to come here alone first, then apply for a spouse visa after a few months. Hi Nitish, Congratulations for getting a PhD offer from Australia. No, that's not true / there is no such rule. You can apply for yourself and for your spouse in a same application. I have seen many peoples who bring their partner with them (recently married (1-3 months ) included).

You have to apply for both living allowance and fee scholarship than it’s dependent upon your profile which one you get or both.

Hlo sir i am from Bangladesh Bangladesh my 10th result is 3.11 out of 5 and 12th 5 out of 5 and batchlors degree result 3.90 out of 4 and masters also 3.90 out of 4 and i got a very good phd score can i become a lecturer in any University of Australia?

if you have a relevant teaching experience along with good grades then you have good chances. Visa maybe a issue here but not sure though. All the best.

What if one have 1 years course base masters instead of 2 year research base masters ? İn this scenario student is eligible for PhD ?

usually you have to submit your master or honours project/thesis along with your Phd application in case of no publications..and if you have only Master by coursework then confirm with university graduate research office..
