What's the difference between dark soy sauce and regular soy sauce? I make a sauce just like this with soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar for like everything because it's soo good, but I'm wondering if I should get some dark soy sauce to add in too... 🤔

@@acidicOlive dark soy sauce has thicker consistency and is a lot stronger I think. There really isn’t a “regular” soy sauce imho cause there’s many variants. Korean (guk ganjang) Chinese soy sauce (there’s so so many) and Japanese soy sauce which I find sometimes more stronger than guk ganjang! So yeah for “regular” soy sauce can be put in sauces nd such. Dark soy sauce is more reserved for ish like cooking nd more I feel and you DEF hold back from putting as much as you would for regular soy sauce!!!

unless you have an actual convection oven (which most dont) it's not regular oven instructions.

@@stranger242 convection ovens are the most basic and widely used kitchen ovens. If you dont have one, youre definitely broke or youre using a kitchen oven from 25 years ago.

@@MessoriusPrime I was really tempted to get one before, cause I saw all those people who just praised that thing to high heaven, but I seriously don't know where I should put another big appliance in my kitchen, like it's already bursting I can't stuff it any further.

@@JGStoneit’s probably the most utilized appliance in my home. I have a gas oven, but it is old and takes a long time to heat up, AND it heats up my house too much. Air fryer is perfect since it’s only two of us anyhow, and most of our meals are relative small (not huge, family-sized). Also, it cooks a lot quicker for meats.

@@ceewhateyecee9701 Ok yeah for only 2 it probably makes up for it in energy efficiency and speed. We are 6 in my household, so apart from special little meal at the side, it would just take space.

Its pricier but we have a breville toaster oven, it has an air fry, bake, convection oven, toast, dehydrate, broil, and pizza oven setting, the thing is fucking awesome!!! it knocked 2 appliances out of our house (toaster and air fryer) it made me realize how dumb toasters are (they are basically unserviceable) Love this thing . I would die for this toaster oven

It’s most likely just the lighting. Slightly yellow tinted kitchen lights instead of the pure white lights that every other channel likes to use lol

@@froggy5748 i think thats partly the reason, other one is the chicken just being thawed and probably a bit oxydized. though that might actually just be the lighting on its own, just hard to immagine that alone changin so much.
