Luna lies. She is in love with Matteo. She just doesn't want to hurt Simon. I love Lumon but that's not a real love. They confused the friendship with the love, not anymore. Luna thought she was in love with Simon but no, she never liked him ( except at the beginning in season 3). She liked just as friend. I'm feel so sad but it's like that.

But it's literally not Luna's fault that she doesn't return Simon's feelings. She was doing literally everything to not accidentally hurt Simon. She even rejected Matteo (at the almost end of Season 1, knowing she had feelings for him) to not hurt Simon. Luna even became Simon's girlfriend to avoid hurting him (which obviously ended badly)

For me, (and not Luna) I like Simon more than Matteo. I still need watch the show first to see the whole story
