Maybe this meeting was held on the occasion of Zakir sir's anniversary..

Ustad Zakir Hussain is an Indian tabla virtuoso, composer, percussionist, music producer and film actor. He is the eldest son of tabla player Ustad Allah Rakha. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1988, and the Padma Bhushan in 2002, by the Government of India presented by President Abdul Kalam.

Delighted to listen to this beautiful ghazal in the soulful voice of Ustad Ghulam Ali Saab all over again, after a long interlude ! What a beautiful composition it was ! How soulful was Ustadji in performing it ! What a wonderful feeling it has been ! I have enjoyed it thoroughly ! Needless to say that Sur (Notation) and Taal(Rhythm) are the essence of ghazal gayiki ! How beautifully did both of these stalwarts supplement and complement each other ! It's a treat to listen again and again ! I have listened to it several times over in a single sitting ! Still, the inner urge in my heart to listen to this magnificent ghazal has remained unfulfilled ! Beautiful lafz, coupled with beautiful mosiki and bemisaal gayiki, had paved the way for a lajabab ghazal ! Hat's off to both ! Abdul Salam Saab deserves appreciation for his immaculate choice of uploads ! Look forward to listen to many more of the genre in the days to come !

Delighted to listen to this magnificent ghazal in the soulful voice of Ustad Ghulam Ali Saab, with brilliant accompaniment in tabla by Ustad Jakir Hussain Saab, all over again ; ofcourse, in a different orientation altogether ! What a wonderful feeling it has been ! I have enjoyed it thoroughly ! "Bahut Hi Lutf Mila Sunkar !" Sur (Notation) and Taal (Rhythm) is the essence of ghazal gayiki ! What a lethal combination it was ! How beautifully did both these stalwarts supplement and complement each other ! Beautiful lafz, coupled with beautiful mosiki and bemisaal gayiki, had paved the way for a lajabab ghazal ! Regarding their attributes, it's the least said, the better !
