One Pot Chole Masala Ingredients
काबुली चना - Kabuli Chana - 1 cup (200 grams)
तेल - Oil - 2 tbsp
घी - Ghee - 1 tbsp
तेजपत्ता - Bay leaf - 2
लोंग - Clove - 4 nos
काली मिर्च - Black pepper - 10-12 nos
बडी इलायची - Black Cardamom - 1 no
चक्रफूल - Star Anise - 1
दालचीनी - Cinnamon - 1 inch stick
अन्जारदाना पाउडर - Pomegranate seeds powder - 1 tsp
धनिया पाउडर - Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
जीरा पाउडर - Cumin Powder 1 tsp
टमाटर - Tomato - 2 nos (200 gms)
अदरक - Ginger - 1 inch baton
हरी मिर्च - Green Chilli - 2 nos
कसूरी मेथी - Dry Fenugreek leaves - 1 tbsp
कश्मीरी लालमिर्च - Kashmiri Red Chilli - 1 tsp
चायपत्ती - Tea leaves 1 tsp
नमक - Salt - 1 tsp
बेकिंग सोडा - Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
गरम मसाला - Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
घी - Ghee - 1 tbsp
जीरा - Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
कश्मीरी लालमिर्च - Kashmiri Red Chilli - 1/2 tsp
हरा धनिया - Coriander leaves - 1-2 tbsp

Hi Nishaji, for past few years I’ve been your subscriber and following your recipes. Every time I tried your recipe it has been a winner in my household. Each age group - From children to elders. If I may request for some quick salads (meal replacement) especially with Indian ingredients will be great - protein ladoos or kids nutritional snacks will be lovely too

i made it with a twist(read it till the end for the twist). only had tej patta, Kali mirch, dalchini and laung in khade masale. i added 6 grated garlic cloves and an inch of ginger afterwards. then one finely chopped onion, fried it till golden. then added powdered masale as you said. afterwards added tomato and green chilli paste, added salt(yes I added it here so that tomato gets cooked), fried it .added coriander powder and one more as you said..now the gravy got thick so i added chai Patti Pani and covered it for 5 mins, added chhole, then more water, I didn't use baking soda... whistled it as you said.. now the twist! i added two teaspoons of imli chutney which I got with kachori and mirchbada from a shop as my breakfast. i whistled it twice on high flame. mashed some of the chholes. served it with rice, chapati and salad. tasted delicious.
