THIS is what racing should be like! No stupidly expensive tickets for no reason, no ridiculous prices that prevent fans from enjoying the spectacle, and most of all, access to the pits. And competition EVERYWHERE!

And no overpriced food. A cup of coffee at Silverstone for the F1 event £5-50, at a club event £1-50, and this is coffee from the same vendor.

I love this era of WEC!! It was hard to watch when Porche left back in 2017 and Toyota didn't have any true competition but wow! I could never imagined it being revived like this

Tbh the era between 2018-2022 of wec is the same period as f1 is having now. But from boringness to absolute competitiveness is the thing that I love about wec

Thank you to whoever decided to restart it after the red flag! At last some common sense!! What an incredible race and a truly brilliant era of endurance racing. Please though, for next year, put some big screens opposite some of the main viewing areas. There was one opposite the Raidillon grandstand and one opposite the pit straight grandstand but there really needs to be one opposite the Pouhon hill, opposite Kemmel, opposite Les Combes and opposite the bus stop chicane. There are huge crowds there that don’t get to see the action at the rest of the circuit and often don’t know what has happened when a vsc or safety car occurs

I love how in the first lap clip every car is going through Eau Rouge, making noise but you basically can't hear it because the caddy exists.

Will they ever increase the power limit for the hypercars? 670 seems a bit low especially compared to old lmp1 cars and with these hybrid powertrains should easily be able to produce much more power without much increase in cost

Can someone explain to me how the race is structured? Are some cars not faster than others? And what is the difference between a 6 hour and a 24 hour race?

24 hours means the race is held for 24h long. Day and night

some cars are faster than others sure, but they are also equalised by adding balance of performance. This can be for example by adding more weight to faster cars. However, even if a car is inherently faster, a lot can be determined by other factors such as driver skill (how well can they save fuel, preserve the tires and stay fast), setup of the car, strategy (when to pit and what to do in the pit, e.g. change tires, add fuel, change driver, order of the drivers), but there is also a factor of luck involved obviously. Rules are the same for 6h races as for 24h races, but for a 24h race, you get more points. Everything else stays the same, you just race longer.

Ferrari and Porsche are going to fight strong to win the next 24 Hours of Le Mans. Ferrari has the fastest car but Porsche gained all the great opportunities to take the leadership of the world championship . Le Mans ll be very exciting .....

I was there, it was incredible. My third year, and I’ll be back in 2025; there’s nothing like it in motorsport. Fair prices, party atmosphere, approachable/ down to Earth drivers and teams, and awesome unpredictable racing, at one of the most stunning tracks and locations in the World.
