Spa Hot Tub Blower Motor won't run, Tripping GFI Breaker, You won't Believe Why. I've never seen this before and just had to share. There of course are many reason why a motor will trip a breaker, but this is just one. If you have questions feel free to ask. Hope you liked the video.

I had same problem but didn't think about taking the blower out. Will check it out. Thank you for posting the video.Frank

You can unplug the blower and see if it still trips gfi. should help trouble shoot

My jets work my heater works but my blower isn't should I shut it down or leave it running

If your getting power to the blower when you call for it (from topside) and it still doesn't work, then it's either a fuse or blower bad. If it's not a fuse, then yes i would disconnect it until you get it fixed.

acorns actually made it harder to diagnose the problem. Some times it would work and then not. It wasn't until the amount of acorns was enough to do damage and stop it completely. Still had to replace the motor cause it was shot.

There are many things that can cause these issues. This is just one and very unusual but does happen. I'll be happy to help if you have questions.

@@El_Jefe_S3 I'm more likely to blame a rodent for the acorns being there than the guy. You thought he was sitting around his house and thought, "you know what would be awesome? Destroying my hot tub blower motor so I can post a video on YT!" Smh
