Spa not working- Air Switch repair

Nothing too crazy. Opened pool and spa blower did not work. Turned out to be something easy if you know what you're looking for......

Thanks. That was the beginning of last season. Its been fine since. I guess a little air was leaking because the hose was slightly stretched. If what I did didnt work I would try a thin film of silicone

Disconnect the pump end of the tube and blow air through the tube to clear out condensation in the tube. the button may perform better.

Thank you. That’s a really good idea that I never thought of. It’s probably 100’ of tubing so I’ll have to break out the compressor but thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately I have no idea what that is. Sorry. Maybe a splitter at the main blower to reduce the air pressure. Or a smaller air pump.

@@lenlevan623 and the water pressure is too much or the air bubbles are too violent? I've never had a pedicure so no idea how they work. I would start by contacting the chair manufacturer or looking for the manual online. I would think that both are adjustable.

My blower turns on by itself… how do I test? When I push the button on the side of the spa it turns off. But what is making it start all by itself? Thank you

Is it an air pressure switch like mine? I would unscrew it and see. If it Is, I would trace the tubing as well as you can back to where the blower is. I have a grey 4x4x2" box that I thought was electrical until I opened it and saw that was where the clear hose terminates at the switch. It may be as simple as replacing that part. I'll look and see what I can find and edit this post. Edit. I found something like this. It's cheap and you probably need a new one. I replaced a rely in that box a couple years ago. When the spa air bubbles wouldn’t work. Is it the same rely?

Hi Thanks for the part#... so just to be 100% sure.. the spa bubbles go on if the electrical breaker is on... If I try to put the button inside the spa... it will not turn off... I have to shut off the breaker. Is this part inside the blower?? thanks Richie @@Samlol23_drrich
