As a commenter who actually unwillingly made it into several of these video shots, I was extremely impressed by my experience today at Space 220. The nods to Horizons were amazing, and the food and drinks were out of this world. I commend Disney on this accomplishment. As a space and Disney enthusiast I can say I will definitely be going again in the very near future. Next time for dinner. Our server was outstanding, all staff were great. Thank you Disney and PRG! I’ll never forget today.

It would have being cool if there was a meriorite shower and the lights go off and there is lights flashing. Maybe a little shaking. It would make the price worth more. Kind of like I’m rain forest cafe when there are storms.

I used to be a flight controller at NASA Johnson. There is so much missed opportunity they could have done with this resturant, I say this from my nerd POV. However, this is great for STEM engagement and getting kids and adults excited about Space. So im glad it exists. Hope it get's people curious.

I inexplicably started tearing up when the Cast Member said "Welcome to space, everyone."

I know a lot of people are saying they are underwhelmed but this looks amazing! It feels like Disney is going back to the original idea of Epcot and without an IP!

Well the pre-opening hype had me pretty stoked. I must say, minus the aquarium, it looks as if they took the coral reef restaurant and just moved it over to the other side of Epcot! I will still check it out for myself when we vacation in Orlando next June.

Honestly, this IS what EPCOT is about. I am honestly surprised to say that I think this is thee most EPCOT thing we've gotten in a very long time.

It looks like the restaurant lighting itself is just a bit too bright, almost like the cleaning lights are on and it's not in show mode.

What is this classic Epcot thing doing in modern Epcot? This doesn’t look like something modern Disney would build.

I thought the theming was fun and creative right up to entering the actual restaurant. Is anyone else...underwhelmed? It looks like an upgraded version of Cosmic Ray's...

Looks kind of neat, but at $55 dollar lunch and $79 dollar dinner fixed price, I'm afraid it's a hard pass on my upcoming trip. Much like the Be Our Guest restaurant, it's just too pricey for a bit of atmosphere. I think they missed an opportunity for another rotating restaurant that would have really added to the illusion and more than tripled capacity. As it is, it's a bit too static.

I hope someone takes this idea and replicates it, but as an MST3K-themed restaurant. Satellite of Lunch.

The video is hard to tell looking out the window if the earth really looks far away or not. I like the space elevator effect.

Thank goodness the Hydrolators “gag” weren’t left to completely die. Bravo to the Imagineers for using a great idea and plus’ing it. I assume the floor wiggled or vibrated along with a healthy dose of subwoofer woofing? I also liked the growing food in space using hydroponics as seen at Living with the Land being pulled over to connect the dots and tie things together in what was once “Future World.” This restaurant pulls at those nostalgic EPCOT heart strings. Interesting that Disney is having to goto Prix Fixe menus to prevent cheap bastards and lookie loos from parking their butts in a themed environment and preventing them from NOT looking at the menu quick enough to turn those tables. It was funny see’ing vloggers eat $20 appetizer servings at Cali Grill’s former lounge area just to hang around long enough to view and film the fireworks at the cheapest price point. Bob Paychek will leave no profit stone unturned. Total t*rd but a smart one. For his next act? I guarantee he will start charging a premium for the booths directly at the fake windows offering the best view of those monster OLED screens. “Elevate your dining” - Not the most genius copy but a tad punny

The screens look pretty impressive but I was expecting a bit more from the fit-out of the restaurant. Seems like they could have done much more with the interior , more like a space station from a movie.

My reaction for this space restaurant is meh. I would like it a lot more if it wasn’t built under the Chapek Administration.

It maybe a restaurant but it looks more like a ride to me I am actually looking forward to going there It's a lot cheaper than staying at the star wars hotel.

I think it is very close to the concept art. The beginning was really cool. Of course o don’t think that many people have ever been over there for Mission Space. Haha. Now go ride the Orange of MS after dinner. 🤮

Has something similar been done but for "Earth" locations? Say the restaurant is based in Orlando but by putting large screen TVs in place of the windows, project a view of say Paris or Rome?

That place looks great. Unfortunately we couldn’t get reservations here for our upcoming Disney trip. I did laugh a little when I saw the emergency exit signs and doors that would lead to nothing but floating outer space.

The place settings and tables themselves look great, but the actual restaurant area is very lacking. They just opened so hopefully they add more features. Could easily be the best restaurant in Disney if they want to.

Our kiddo would enjoy the atmosphere, but it's a shame that the adult menu doesn't have much for the picky eaters. I think the Lounge menu has better options than the actual dining portion.

IMO: Not bad, but feel like there should have been more windows. Maybe a dome for the ceiling so you could see things flying over. I am assuming that the earth image is rotating and the sunlight will change? Just seems it is lacking something....Glad there are no IPs plastered over the wall. 1-10 I say a 7-8.

I love the walkway in, with the "growing food" and everything, however that pricing is crazy. The lunch $55 for just an appetizer and an entree, with special drinks and dessert arent included is a bit much--even with potentially getting the AP 10%, DVC 15%, or cast member 20% off... I'd probably only go once, if that, and only if I could get a cast member to go with me. $55 could be 2-3+ meals if you budget right and still get good food (like all the Epcot booths).
