There is even a space ace 3, I just never got around to play it :-)

There wasn't really. They made this mostly using sequences they didn't have room for in the first one, back in the days of 3.5 disks.

If only this was done by Don Bluth and made into a real video game like the others, then it could've been more successful.

I mean, almost all the sequences except the very last part were from the arcade game, so...?

Watch the whole thing.... there actually is new material, and it's not that great. It was done by Readysoft, and not Bluth, and it shows.
