Can we make Space Engineers Cargo Containers on our large grid base without Metal Grids - is this even possible?? Check out the beginnings of our new Space Engineers Survival base where we get clever with small grid conversion, and start a rover makeover. This Space Engineers Survival Challenge has No Jet Pack, No Refineries, High Gravity, Low Oxygen, Meteors, Spiders (saberoids), Wolves, aggressive AI spawns from the Assertive Combat Systems mod, and more to make this our greatest Space Engineers Survival Challenge yet! This Space Engineers playthrough is delivered in a compressed Let's Play format that combines entertainment and Space Engineers information.
Primary Challenge Rules/Game Settings:
- Pertam Spawn w/ Drop Pod
- No jetpack
- No basic or large refinery

- No Moons (remove through Admin screen, Entity removal)

yeah, the in and out animation on the spiders is why i simply don't have them spawn-able in my worlds... it just seems like they were never finished as a mob....

@Brimstonewolf It was a kinda' intentional for this challenge to have it open. When I landed on that plateau on Pertam that had insufficient oxygen, I decided that it would be too easy for my to just put an O2 bottle in my backpack and keep the helmet closed - so I left it open. What I had not counted on was that the dust storm would actually damage me! I think I've had dust/sand storms take away my oxygen, and because I just always play with the helmet closed, I hadn't even considered I'd take damage. Having made the decision though to have it open on the planet, I decided to just heal through it on the survival kit, which then made my 1 survival kit an even more critical piece of survival equipment for the challenge, and might lead to other gameplay for the vid. Good observation though!! It would be the typical/natural move.
