Are people still unaware? The game did get fixed. All the weapons he showed you can be dramatically customized and in some cases function completely differently. Look up deathwing enhanced edition.

I disagree. As someone with 20+ hours on the Enhanced Edition, I still think that the bolters, ESPECIALLY both marks of the Storm Bolters are woefully underpowered. Even with maximum upgrades, which I have with my Mark 1 Bolter as Chaplain, it still feels like a peashooter compared to the Spear of Caliban and Heavy Flamer. A mod increasing the damage of the bolters and enemy mobs would make the game so much cooler. It would make the player feel so much more powerful, without making the game a cakewalk.

40mm? That sounds... improbable. You realise the GAU-8 is 30mm and they had to build a plane around it, right? 20mm would be more reasonable.

Woefully underpowered. Astartes shorts are more along the lines of an accurate depiction.

I think it's for balance, the same reason of stubbers damaging you or you surviving more than a few slashes by the genestealers

Really needed a map editor and mod support. And bug fixes, lots of bug fixes. And a weapon sound fx overhaul.

@@KNIGHTMAREMANIAC It's a great foundation to build something more on. Modders could have had a field day with it. It's also not great at explaining what things are and what they do, or how abilites and weapons interact - if at all. Unlocking upgrades is really slow, and you unlock a random upgrade for any class on levelling, regardless of if you've already got the better version of it - or if you've never touched that class before.

I would agree with this 100% if I didn’t have any friends to play this with. With friends, I would bump up that 5 hours so a solid 20. The game is great, and had so much potential, but a great game can only keep you interested for so long until the lack of content gets to you.

@@kronkdark2129 I play alone and even then I've easily punched almost 40 hours into the game now. Just pretty fun, especially with setting up your slot to be just right for you.

Game Movie I meant your second definition, like for example you select you the Mechanicus in multiplayer, then you have sub-factions (like Mars or Stygies) with different colors. I was wondering if there is lore too when you select different sub-factions inside a greater faction.

Scythe-Strains and Broodlords would like to have a few words with you.

I mean, obviously, you still need a Devastator, Librarian or Assault to deal with the big guys but, for general conditions, the Storm Bolter is the best. Personally, I prefer the Mk II on all classes. I've heard people say that, for Apothecary, the Hellfire or Redemption are the best options, and I can see why. Still, I prefer the regular Storm Bolter or the Mk II.

Ammo counter could have been integrated into the weapon seamlessly

There is one particular level where you'll find a broken elevator in the middle of a large cargo room (with lots of crates) and two relics. On that elevator, look closely and you will see a HUGE tyranid corpse, bigger than even the broodlords.

To be fair, in space marine your just wearing power armor. A thunder hammer is a two handed weapon in that case. Meanwhile in Deathwing you’re in terminator armor, which allows a marine to use them with one hand, plus the added bulk of the armor means the hammer won’t look as big when held by them.

I think these weapons were added in patches.
