love the song and the lesson but would really help to include the strumming patterns on the website (you seem to be using a few different ones here and its a little hard to pick up from the diagram on the video) :)

Hi, I have been playing on and off since I was about 15 but only with real dedication for the last 8 - 10 years. The first year or so is the most difficult as the guitar has such a steep learning curve; things will click with practice (I am not a natural player). Playing along to the original recordings is a great way of learning rhythms just don't pick anything too tough to start with. I wish you all the best. Cheers. Alan :)

Best way to learn a song, you can easily play allong, and that's how you learn fastest. Not with endless chatting like martyzwartsch does...

some people like to be talked through things especially learning licks for playing lead. Talking not as necessary for strumming rhythm. Love alan robinsons style though
