Doesn't the space shuttle roll 180° while in flight?

It does. But I simply positioned it on the launch pad so I didn’t have to roll it. Only pitch. But this shuttle can absolutely do the roll if necessary

That depends on something I can’t say right now. But it’s all about what would happen if SLS were canceled, and why that’s a bad idea!
