Jane Fonda wouldn't clear the sample anyway. Spacedust re-recorded the sample.

@@alanst220 No, Bangalter only produced it for Sinclar on the condition it was strictly an album track. It was Sinclar who wanted to release it as a single, and Bangalter wouldn't give permission.

people sit this side by side to the bangalter/sinclar version but it does totally different things, bangalter/sinclar was specifically french house in style and structure this is VERY much UK club - the structure of the song with the early mixout and rise back in, the bouncy hi-NRG drum loops - glancy used the same lego kit as TB/BS and made something that's actually pretty different? at least compared to outright knockoffs like sunset strippers vs cabin crew with waiting for a star to fall. also curious if this was just spacedust being opportunistic or if the label picked his name out of a hat
