I suspect that Starships for interstellar travel will need Aerodynamics and well made bulkheads for the interstellar medium, since if they be traveling at speeds of 300-600Mm/sec (1-2c), they will be slowed down by the incredibly small amount of gas, and protection from objects that could disintegrate said ships in an instant. The current idea of thin and long starships is flawed in the assumption that there are far fewer if not no objects between star systems than there actually are. I could imagine a starship with internal gravity rings, placed inside a shell of compartments for storage and for redundancy, with different relative speeds, and in turn, gravitational equivalencies. that would allow humans on such a ship to train for planets with higher gravity than earth and allow them to live in weaker gravity so joint problems such as arthritis would not surface.

and Artificial gravity will likely be created with large rotating "drum" or "Ring" sections rather than (Magical) gravity generators, and if we don't discover a method of FTL travel, then those many kilometer wide and long Spacecraft will be portable civilizations unto themselves complete with sections of Earth-like terrain and ecosystems and efficient automated farms, probably using vertical farming techniques and some mix of Hydroponics, Aeroponics, and Aquaponics depending on the plants, and how much fish or other meat sources you need/want. Heck, even IF we get FTL Travel, it still might be more efficient to travel slower than light in these mobile civilizations
