SpaceX Static Fires Booster 12 for Fifth Starship Flight Test

Күн бұрынSpaceX is testing B12, which might be the first Booster to undergo a catch attempt at the Orbital Launch Site. This test is most likely a static fire attempt. An overpressure notice was delivered to residents. Road closures are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m..
Booster 12:
The Booster already features 33 Raptors. Booster 12 is the first stage for the fifth flight of Starship. The Booster previously performed two cryogenic pressure tests, and a spin prime test.

@NASASpaceflight H20 plus MethaneO2 turns steel into oxides crazy fast!!! No amount of paint could change these chemicals from eating away at OLM and BASE Tower steel super fast. We need meta materials that are metallic and hydrophobic at the same time. Teflon? Maybe?
