In this video which is part #2 of 2 Ronnie McDowell who sings the soundtracks for Elvis and Me and The Kurt Russel Movie and others.. tells us about the song The King is Gone and how it changed his life.. Ronnie turned 70 on March the 25th which is the last day of the amount of days Elvis lived versus the amount since he passed which I think is interesting.. Part #2 will be out Monday March 30th.. What people who were not alive in 77 dont realize, this song could have been hated. Seen as someone trying to make a profit from. Elvis' death. But because of the lyrics and sincerity of the singing, we knew he meant it. 100,000 percent. Mr. McDowell was hurting just like us... and he was singing for all of us. That is why we listened over and over and over and over... Had he come across any other way, we wouldn't have given him a nickel. He was hurting just like us. That's why his song meant so much! Thanks Spa Guy for this wonderful interview!

@divinelightshine you left out the word, “more” in between the words deserves and success. Of course he’s successful, I’m only saying he deserved more success than he received.

It was the very first song I heard after Elvis passed in 1977, while stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington State in 1977. The last song I heard prior to this before Elvis passed, was Moody Blues, I believe in July or early August, the same club on base. Ironically, while on a training exercise 2 years later at Fort Lewis, I was reminding my junior soldiers, on Aug 16, 1979, about Elvis passing 2 Years prior, when my Lieutenant walks up and he says, Sergeant Young, come walk me. He says we’re sending you in from training. They have s flight scheduled for you this evening. Your Dad passed away in the morning hours, we give our condolences. What a ironic n overwhelming feeling that swept through me. Thanks SpaGuy for raising the bar on Elvis. Thanks Ronnie for your Love. 🇺🇸❤️🙏🙏❤️🇺🇸. Thank you to R. I. P. Elvis for his military service to our country. Thanks to Ronnie for (3) Vietnam tours n your military service to our country.

I'm 46 and love Elvis. Honestly I've never heard of Ronnie McDowell or "The King is Gone". This was as awesome series. And yes, I looked up the song and like it. Just to add to this. I've been an Elvis fan for most of my life but really considered myself a fan when my family went to Graceland when I was in high school around 1989. Spa Guy, I was an Elvis fan as long as I can remember but I didn't really know of anyone in his life until I started watching your videos. I didn't know who Sonny or Red or Billy or even people like Ginger, Lamar and Joe Espisito was until after watching your videos and learning. You have done excellent work and I'm glad to support you in any way I can.

Wow, his stories are amazing! He is so down to earth and humble, just like Elvis was. I love how their lives were intertwined. His story about the "EP" hairs had my own hair standing on end! Love his song, still makes me cry and I'm sure others cry too. The world sure did lose someone special when we lost Elvis. I know people wished he would have lived and so do I, but the Lord works in mysterious ways and Elvis was so tired, so the Lord took him home. I have comfort in knowing Elvis is in heaven and with his family. Thanks for this interview Billy, I wish it could have gone on longer because Ronnie just had us pulled in so well wanting more and more.

In my opinion, I believe somehow Elvis knew. Just like I honestly believe that Elvis has a big part of all that is going on. It's no secret how much Elvis loved God and this Country. He could used his Celebrity Status to get out of being drafted and insisted that he wanted to go. Unfortunately it was during his time in Germany, when while in the Army. His was forced to take medication to keep him up all night, because his Sgt. didn't want to take the chance of Elvis falling a sleep during his watch. Inspite of what Elvis went through during his Army days. Elvis never once blamed the Government or the Military. I'm one of the ones who believe Elvis, did not pass away in 1977. He left behind too many clues. I remember a good friend of Elvis, Bill Bixby doing a special, about "Did Elvis fake his Death". He had several guest, on his show. Including the Woman who wrote the book Orion. Her name is Gale Brewer. ( I apologize if I spelled her name wrong). During that special, Bill Bixby talked about Elvis " FBI" Days. And he spoke about the last two "files" Elvis had worked on. I remember as I was watching it. Thinking that's really strange, why is he telling us this. Through the years, there have been so many other clues Elvis had left. I have two Stories, I would like to share. Before the 2012 election, there was someone who called in on a radio station, or it may of been pretty recorded tapes. He would read off different questions, like for instance Someone had asked about how did Elvis feel about Lisa and Michael Jackson ? The reply was, he met him, he seemed like a very nice man. He sent his condolences out to the Jackson Family, especially his Momma. That was all he was going to say. He went on to read off several other questions, and gave his opinion. You could hear the sound of the tape player. It was the type that was recorded on wheels, not cassette or 8 track. Each time this "Mystery Person" wound talk, I believe just under three minutes. Then take a short break. During this time, he warned us about voting for Barack Obama, he even revealed his real name was Barry. He stated in that tape that if We voted him in. America as We know it, would forever be changed. He went on to say, he hopes someday, he will get the chance to explain to his fans, why he did what he had to do. And that it was for America. I remember around August 2016, We were at Bible Study at Our Church. And We had taken a 15 min. break. We went outside, and kind of broke off in small groups, so the ones who wanted to smoke Cigarettes were able too. The group My Husband and I were standing with were talking about the NWO. and how nothing can be done. I replied I don't believe that. I don't believe God is going to allow so much Evil take over. Especially after what happened to all those innocent People in the Towers. As they were sharing what they felt. I know I heard Our Lord say, fear not Judy, for I have not forsaken thee. Donald Trump and Elvis Presley will be helping me, to Save America. There is so much evil that needs to be brought to light and they must be brought to light. I was in total shock. I called my Husband off to the side. And I shared with him what I just heard. A few People heard what I said. And they started teasing, here We go about Elvis again. Some shared what they felt about Candidate Trump, there was no way he was going to Win. Accept it. I replied, no, I know what I just heard. I will make a deal with you, We won't discuss anything about the Election or about Elvis, let's see what happens on Election Night. About two weeks later, as I was saying my prayers, I asked Our Heavenly Father to please send me some kind of sign. Not that I was doubting him. I just want to verify He said that to me. About two weeks later. Then Candidate Trump was having one of his Rally's. After Candidate Trump approached the Podium and he had thanked Everyone for coming out and supporting him. All of a sudden out of no where. He says, I see Elvis Presley in the Audience. We were shocked. Some of you might remember that it is documented that Candidate Trump had several Ministers, Priest, as well as others from other Faiths praying with him. They were even placing their hands on him. Many might remember Mark Taylor, the Firemen who was a retired Fire Fighter from Florida was one of the first ones who Prophesied that Donald Trump was going to be Our next President. This was said months before Donald Trump officially announced. There was a Prophet named Kim Clements who also prophesied that Donald Trump was going to be Our next President. He also said that God made a deal with the Kennedy Family, they will be involved in making America Great Again. He also prophesied that President Trump and Bill Gates will be working together to come up with a cure for a Virus. Many things they had prophesied have already came through. Or We are in the midst of it all. I believe it was around May of 2017. I may be off a Month or two, but I know the exact time frame is recorded in President Trumps travel log. It was announced that President Trump and Our First Lady was taking an unplanned trip to Memphis Tennessee. No further details are being released. Around that time. Also around that time, for the first time the National Guard was called in to protect Graceland. (Why, at that time)? Also Priscilla was having a private showing of the Movie, Elvis the Traveler. Only those invited were allowed to attend. Also for the first time, since Graceland was opened up for Public Tours. It allegedly was shut down for about 3 days, allegedly due to plumbing repairs. On top of this, was when Lisa Marie first went to Scientology for treatment. A relative went to Scientology and allegedly signed her out. Lisa then went in for treatment. In 2018, maybe 2019, President Trump gave out 7 Presidential Awards, one was given to Elvis Presley, for his impact on America and his music. Someone from EPE accepted the award on behalf of the Presley Family. There's a Minister on You Tube name Bob Joyce. He talks a lot about Elvis, and a lot of times would say in a Former Life, and would share things that happened in his life, that it wasn't until he found Jesus that he felt fully happy. You can go on You Tube. Listen for yourself, make your Own decisions. There was a You Tube Channel Creator who had recently saw a video of Bob Joyce singing. He wanted to share it with his Sub's. You tube gave him a Copyright Strike. When he questioned you tube, how could he get a copy right strike, for sharing a video by Bob Joyce. The reply back was unauthorized use by Elvis Presley ? Why would he get a Copy Right strike, for sharing a video by a Minister ? You Tube would not change their decision. For many years there was a radio Station who every week would play music that Elvis had recorded back before 1977. This show was called the Elvis hour, even though they played his music longer then an hour. When the Show ended that day, the D.J. said what he normally would say. Join us next week, as We listen to more great music from Elvis Presley, being broadcasted live from the Guesthouse at Graceland. The following week when my Husband went to listen to it, as he did every week . It was a different format, nothing about Elvis. He said he went there three weeks in a row, Nothing about Elvis. There was a Channel on You Tube, that played all kind of Elvis, songs that he recorded, including songs, that weren't even written let alone sung by Elvis or any other Artist before 1977. Also there were several songs that were recorded in 2008 thru 2012. One song was written by Elvis especially for Lisa Marie. Again all around the same time, it disappeared, no warning, no explanation, just gone. In my honest opinion, I believe when Priscilla talks about Elvis ( allegedly committing Suicide). She doesn't mean Elvis the Man, she means Elvis the Entertainer. I hope and Pray when this Storm is over, and the History Books about this time, how We fought to get Our Country back, and most importantly bring God back into Our Country. There is a book written for Elvis Presley and it reveals the truth on why he did what he did to help save America. Those who are awake, and have been doing research, like Spa Guy, and all these other People who knew Elvis in one way or another. And We are hearing how Elvis always tried to be there to help his friends. And to help take back America and bring God back into this Country. Many still believe Elvis passed away on August 16, 1977. In many ways they are right. Elvis the Entertainer passed away. He got the help he needed to get off the medicine he ended up getting addicted to. And only took what he needed for health problems, many never knew he had. According to Elvis, he did what he had to do, to help save America. Some feel that Elvis was one of them. Meaning like so many others, he lied to Us. That's not true. There's a new group of People who never really listened to Elvis Music before, who have recently been listening to his music, and realize, many of Elvis Songs talk about what is going on today. Like the song Elvis recorded by Mac Davis, called in "The Ghetto". To me, if when Elvis became a Minister, that's where he found peace with himself, most importantly with God, and his Country. He deserves it. He said many times, when he was being called, he wasn't going to wait. He was following Jesus. Everything I stated in here, can be proven. Stay Safe and God Bless.

According to the new movie that Austin Butler played Elvis, he either had to go to jail for the inappropriate moving, or go to service. And some say he was given special privileges in the service. I don't know the real story, but I don't blame the service for causing his addiction. If Parker had not of over worked him, he might not have gotten go addicted. And Dr. Nick along with other Drs. Made sure he had an abundance of pills. Elvis was a beautiful talented man and he made an impact on our country forever.

Genuinely nice man. He was right, there was only one Elvis. Short of a Arabian Prince, I don't know of anyone who lived like Elvis. Elvis loved to give and all his giving came back to him by adding to his aura and image. And that helped make him the legend and part of the reason, along with his talent, that he remained so popular and in demand. There had to be divine intervention to create Elvis. He as that special.

Thanks Billy, I have heard most of these stories over the years. As a huge fan of Ronnie he is such an awesome guy and love to see him when every we can. It has been a sad weekend as our friends Jan and Joe passed. I am so glad he is still in good shape and God letting him make it through 3 tours is just the sign God had a much bigger plan for Ronnie. Take care Billy we are coming to Nashville so as we can. My old steel buddy Bobby had a steel guitar store over t 123 Mid Town Ct, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Bob K runs it now. I am sure he can sell you some rusty Bass strings

I cried and cried also when I heard The King Is Gone, I had all different images of Elvis going through my head like I saw his life going by me. I still believe that is one of the best tributes to Elvis to this day. Ronnie you are still looking good and sounding good to. God Bless You.
