In this lecture, we introduce an important law of physics - conservation of momentum. This is the first conservation law we deal with, and many problems can be solved via it's application.

Unfortunately I do not cover it in my class at the moment due to limited time, so I have no video to upload. However, I do hope to eventually record additional lectures/topics beyond what I teach in class.

41:40, why does it have the largest momentum? Pf-pi =0 (since it's bouncing back), while our clay ball has pf of 0 which means ∆p=p and fully acted the force on the door?? Plus ain't it external force? Shouldn't it be equal... I'm really confused 😕

same force applied to both balls for the same duration of time so they will have the same momentum (same force&time---> same impulse ---> same change of momentum) - my professor did the same example in my class and that is what he said (tbh conceptually i dont get it either but maybe his answer can help u)

@@haydenjump Yup! u got me right. It's like saying a pound of feathers and a pound of steel. same force and same mass.
