I am not a Spaniard. Will not eat you. I understand you. I have liked the song, but also thought it is quite repetitive, but at the same time there is something hypnotic about it. Reading the lyrics (translation), it gives you a bit more of the mystical aura, because it takes you to some spiritual realm, Northern Africa. However, I have struggled a bit with this song. Although I believe you get more from the song as well after you learn the context, but the repetition is not something I admire. And there is no real surprise in the song, not momentum, other than the whole song. She's absolutely a good singer, but she is not the only one. It has been in my top 10, but can easily see it in top3, as well as out of the top 10. Who knows. 🙂

This is miles better than SloMo. Chanel performed it well, sang it a bit less well, and the song itself relied mostly on booty and being a generally cheap club song (they have their place, not saying that), but this is literally art. It just seems to fly past people's hearts and heads, while some are really deeply impacted by it (Conchita Wurst's reaction on youtube for example). Some people get it, some don't.
