It was a penalty preceded of an OFFSIDE from a german player TOUCHING the ball just a few seconds earlier, but who cares, isn't? Exactly the same as other hand before (Cucurella again), also with another offside from player TOUCHING the ball before.

Terrible decision, German guy takes a shot it's going straight into the net but the defender's hand deflects the ball away. The infraction happens inside the penalty area therefore this is the definition of a PK. What is interesting and actually very suspicious is that they did not even review it in the bar. Apparently the shadow people have decided that Spain will win the Euro this year. Clowns liars hypocrites and manipulators that's what IFAB FIFA and international football has become. Utterly ridiculous, who knows why but CLEARLY they are destroying the beautiful game !?!

It’s a penalty.. they are trying to excuse it by saying it was pointing vertically downward but that is gibberish .. the hand is either touching the body or no.. everything else that UEFA is coming up with is so they can interpret it and call it to their liking. If the penalty was given no one would have said anything and would have accepted it. they stole it from Germany..

I actually favour Germany winning the euros over my home country of the Netherlands. Looking at this footage, yes a penalty for sure and Germany got robbed. However it was clearly offside a few seconds prior. The comments in this video show how gullible people are to believe what ever they want.

it wasn't offside. VAR didn't say it was, there was no free kick for Spain, the ref didn't call it an offside either and if you look in the footage Spains 4 actually lifts the offside. I believed it was offside too, because I couldn't find any other explanation, but not a single official source during or after the match called it and offside, not even the post match analytics...

@@musiccer7446 yeah because VAR will only check for offside after a goal etc. This wasnt a goal. They probably checked if it was hands, decided no and stopped everything there. But if they decided yes they would probably found that Fulkrug was slightly offside so still no penalty. :(

There was an offside before the position. That number #9 of Germany was on offside position before receiving the ball and passing the ball to Musiala to take the shot. Rewatch the 112:50 where it shows the replay at perfect angle.

How about you also talk about the clear yellow card on Kroos which would have been his second, or the ref adding 4 extra minutes to the 3 added at the end of the OT, or how about mentioning the ref allowing Germany to play so dirty with so little consequence? I think the ref was bad on both sides, not just to favor Spain. Not to mention that handball you are mentioning came from an offside position so it wouldn’t have counted.

And on top of that, Fullkrug controlled with the shoulder and then the ball immediately bounced off his top part of the elbow, which means a handball preceded the other handball. Besides. Wouldn’t a red in the first 5 minutes condition the game equally as much as a pk?

I disagree. It was a back and forth and Germany was better for stretches and Spain had their moments, too. Once again ridiculous decisions by the ref that ruin an otherwise great match. Spain will have a tough going because of all the restructuring that will be necessary but good luck to them.
