The Joker: Problem is that Van Gaal had a very good team with Van Persie, Robben, Sneijder, De Jong etc. now those players are either retired or not as good as they used to be. The best player in the team now is Depay and that shows why Netherlands couldn't even make it to the World Cup losing to a team like Bulgaria. And although I see a few promising youngsters coming through in Dutch football such as de Ligt and Justin Kluivert there just isn't much of these talents, the future doesn't look too bright for the Dutch national team. Ronald Koeman was great at Southampton but his Everton job was very poor eventually getting fired. So not sure how it's going to turn out for Netherlands.
