Could be, clubs need to keep growing and have strong challenge et pro level to keep pulling women's football up. Confirming after U17 is not always a given though. Lots of boys who win major tournaments don't always make it at highest level. Wishing them all the best.

Very few U17 players make it at higher levels. Maybe 2-3 from this team will.

@@aletapequena Japanese U17 team is an Asian team. There is usually a game between the U17 women's European champion and the U17 women's Asian Team (mostly the Japanese team) after that. Statistically, Japan has more wins than losses. I cannot wait to see it.

Skillful, smart, generous team players... Mind you that the best player of their generation, Vicky Lopez, is not playing in this tournament. She is already playing in the senior team at 17 years old. And yet, the rest of the u17 team shows that they do not need Vicky to shine and succeed. We should be proud of the society and institutions that we all put together and at work every day and make possible this continuous success in women's collective sports. Funny that we seem to be drowning into divisive and ugly quarrels, both ideological and territorial, and yet we are able, when we join forces, to do great things together. 💪

On dirait des amateures face à des professionnelles! Tous les buts ont été inscrits avec une rare maîtrise technique, comme si ces jeunes filles jouaient au ballon dès qu'elles ont appris à marcher. Tout est à refaire pour les françaises, pourtant, elles ne faisaient pas un mauvais championnat. Il faut dire aussi que ces dernières années, boostées par l'exemple barcelonais, le foot féminin espagnol est redoutable quelle que soit la catégorie d'âge considérée. Rien à envier aux États-Unis. Et le style de foot qu'elles pratiquent priorisant la fine technique et le jeu collectif est difficile à affronter, même par les équipes plus physiques (USA, Angleterre, Scandinavie...) Avant de jouer l'Espagne, il faut mûrement réfléchir; j'ai très peur pour Lyon en finale de Ligue des Championnes. Déjà, la finale de la Ligue des Nations a été une douloureuse expérience... Le foot féminin est désormais espagnol, c'est comme ça!

Is she though? England has a younger player that is actually a starter and they are in the final. Not to mention that Cerrato has 6 goals in 4 games plus 10 goals in 6 matches during qualification. Basically, she has scored 16 goals at a rate of one every 30 minutes. Adenini does look like a very promising talent but I would have liked to watch her play more outside the garbage-time minutes.
