I use grousers turbo and hardening on mine

Spall liner is epic-and he’s exactly right, I use spall liner and insert enhanced smoke screen. No dmg to crew ever 50% !! Course-I don’t play lazy WW2..go Pro play Cold War.

I love to do that to unsupecting behind-rock-hiders in an artillery. Ever got caught by a racing M44, that rams your lovely T34/85 to death? That could very well have been me 😁

In a competitive and stat padding perspective turbo is likely 3rd best equipment. QB definitely isn't the person to follow for builds as his infatuation with vents is just comical at this point. Hardening is the best equipment not for the HP but for the track hp. If you have bond hardening and the trach hp field mod with chieftain then you might only get orange damage from even 128 calibre shells as long as they roll avg or lowrolls which is rather useful, also whenever your tracks repair themselves then they'll be at full hp. On top of this you get a nice HP boost as well and with exp hardening on tanks that get ammoracked a lot or that burn often you can decrease the risks of that happening albeit have less track hp and tank hp in return. The second best equipment, albeit controversial is the gun rammer. And it doesn't improve your dpg unless you are actually shooting on reload, you can have a more patient and trade based playstyle where youre not shooting on reload and then the rammer is a wasted slot, but just having that dpm can help carve out 1-3 extra shots per game which is not insignificant. And then comes the turbo which is very very useful on tanks with low top speed and also improves reverse speed which is oh so important for ridgelines etc. If you slap it on an already fast tank then the difference isn't all too big and often times you will get more out of grousers, or forego the turbo and use vert stab or optics or whatever. So for meds and heavys and most TDs hardening, rammer and turbo/grousers is likely the most competitive loadout. For arty you likely wanna run rammer, IAU and vents if possible(better accuracy and reload which are the 2 things that matter for arty) or if you cant equip vents then binos or turbo to spot or get into position faster. For lights CVS is a must, optics and binos can be interchanged and low noise exhaust is often your 3rd equipment. You can forego the LNE for both optics and binos to really offer that deep vision to help clear out very camp heavy scenarios but binos dont work on all maps. These equipments would be S tier for their respective classes and every other equipment is B tier or lower in comparison mostly because of how situational they are. IAU and vert stab and IRM don't always work and don't support a very aggressive playstyle but are better for patient trade based players. Then there is another gap and every other equipment is D tier or lower.

i see that and yes if you recall it seam to make the artys shot track him like heat seeker arty was aimed at the ground in front to the right to the left shots all hit and hit hard yet without the liner much less damage and even missed him from close range full aimed

@@navyseal250_8 I've watched a few clips of mine in my conquerer. And I've got shot on the mantle, and the spaced turret armor and still got hit for 500+ when it didn't even penetrate. Damage aside when they shoot the conquerers turret it breaks everything and kills crew every time. It's obnoxious

The only reason the AVRE exist is as a target for my T92 arty.

Spall liner increases crew survivability. The build shown relies on that in order to drop the medkit but it's hardly foolproof.

@jaywerner8415 yep, it's still the case, we tested it again about a week ago, over 100 HE shots on the same armour panel, at the same angle and distance, spall liner actually caused you to take more HE damage, makes no sence that this works this way.

It will only weigh like 16t.. So good luck with ramming any other Medium or heavy with over 30t lmao

The HE protection only works on non penetrating hits

Ramming Build KV-5 is Hardening, Turbo, Grousers (plus crew skill controlled impact). but i guess you could swap hardening for spall liner

That is exactly what I thought, seeing QB runs happily in front without any cover whatsoever. Had this Kran be a better player, QB would be knocked out quickly.
