One of the things I like best about Billy Strings is his willingness and ability to surround himself with other great musicians and make space for everyone to not only show their own individual virtuosity, but to explore together new ideas about what’s possible for a bluegrass ensemble.

I always love bluegrass, my daddy played it, his little bro played that with a r&r twist. This guy took all my favorites about music and made me cry. At 65, still Love music, but honestly didn't think I'd hear anyone blow me away again. Leo Kottke, Beck, Hendrix, SRV, Molly--darn. sitting here with my kleenex after finally doing the aerobics my doc's been trying to get me to do for a year! Love this kid.
