I thought Poseidon attack percentages were lower because a big key point in Poseidon builds were knock back into barriers and walls, so you lose flat damage percentage but you have the opportunity to do more additional damage through wall slams or whatever its called.

5:42 - for anyone coming along late like me, the reason the Poseidon attack IS good is because knocking enemies into walls deals damage. So 5% decrease on the main attack, but bonus slam damage (which could have been paired later with the Breaking Wave he rerolled for).

ok so i had almost 200 attempts and more than 30 successful escapes before i finally made it out with the bow (and unlocked rama at the same time, actually) and the next run i did with rama, i got out. i was STUNNED at how rama's move set just....makes so much more sense than the others. ....i also got very lucky with doom on special, deflect dash, merciful end, AND impending doom....all leveled up w/ pom blossom...i ended up getting my fastest overall time, too....which was shocking, considering how slow the bow feels to me. ALL of this to say, as someone that was very late to the hades party, having only started playing a few months back, i'm very grateful for all of your VODs and tier lists. 🙌

Cold Fusion is good vs Hades when he's doing those triple attacks and you don't have time to hit him in between because you're just dodging.

Tried Zeus' special on Rama before, with double lightning bolt, and the ground under my enemy's feet was *BLACKED*.

Hades call charges sooooooo fast with that set up. You can get like... 2 full charges in a room almost without trying.

I did a Rama Zeus special build like 4 days ago, and let me tell you, I'm super glad you had as much fun with it as I did.

Really fun build! I had something like this last night. Got an early Splitting Bolt in Asphodel. Bonked everything in my way including. EM4 Dad.

Haven't watched the video yet, but this is one of my favorite builds when it all comes together.

This build took the 3 phase Hades fight and made it 2 again

My favourite now to use by far. Rama with loaded Zeus and poseidon/artemis. Sub 15 min runs at double digit heats. Just fry everything in your path. high double strike is lethal

Rama and Zues secondary is how i got my fastest time so far. Though I did get that daedalus that doubles his special count first.

You can try a Demeter special build with Rama too.It is pretty easy to proc arctic blast when you have relentless valley but the build needs 3 boons to work :/

i did this build and it was fun but i didnt get any double strike lighthning boon! i did however get both legendary boons, Splitting Bolt & Second Wave, and with Relentless Volley +4 special arrows and perfect shot(+150% powershot damage and easier to execute, but i didnt use that much cause special and dash wrecked everything!) i had Razor Shoals, Breaking Wave, Typhoons Fury 436%, High Voltage, Epic Greatest Reflex + 3 Dash, with Tidal Dash(Epic) from poseidon, i just spammed Special and dashed around and slaughtered everything it was sick. only 9 heat run but was alot of fun! Im not good at making my own builds as i normally just let random gods show up and take whatever i think sounds good. So it was fun following your build! Love the videos!

Actually apparently Splash Dash isn't a Sea Storm Prerequisite. You need like flood shot or smt. So he had a bunch of opportunities to get it but didn't realise it lmao.

Rama Ares is one of my faves. Can quickly stack Doom.

Oh, didn't know lightning bolts can't crit. Got a run with Sea Storm and Splitting Bolt Lucifer and 8% PP, no wonder I saw barely any crits.

Fill in the core boons he says. Then proceeds to ignore the cast, sell his attack, and choose sunken treasure over a new attack boon haha. It worked out though

demeter and zeus duo is better if you took zeus randomly or to get a duo boon. you generally take whatever boon you don't use and finally get to use it times to time to keep jolted up once you have the duo. i also helps out when you have many things to dodge and can't afford to attack. obviously rhi is more usefull for slow or melee weapons

huh I feel like the jolted dem duo is better than discussed idk. Because when enemies attack multiple times in a row they take damage a bunch (like hades 3 hitting, or the blue skeletons slashing away) instead of just taking jolted 1 time. LIke yes if you special only you apply it a bunch, but when you have to dash away during a multi attack you don't get a chance to reapply. Maybe I'm not properly remembering how jolted works i'm going to test it later if I can EDIT: alright I kept watching the video, you don't need it w the bow LOL can easily stay out of range and slam him with non stop jolted

also i feel like pressure points and support fire are almost just as good if not on par with double strike on builds like this. They are both must haves for a build like this.. i don't think double strike is enough by itself.. naw not by a long shot.. it's good, but.. everything really only comes together when u have all 3 support boons for it. if you have all 3, it's gg. It's just a matter of getting all 3 right. of course there's splitting bolt too, and it's just as good as the other 2.. i haven't like.. done the math for which one is best. it'd depend on the quality/lvls of each, but if i had to guess which ones are best in order.. it'd be Double Strike > Support Fire > Pressure Points. Splitting Bolt would be the best one of course if they all stayed at white lvl 1 boons.. but I think all 3 of them can vastly out dps Splitting Bolt if they get high quality/lvl. Double Strike efficiency also depends on the quality of the zeus special, so like, Support Fire is actually better than Double Strike if they are all white lvl 1 boons. the double strike is only going to be adding on average 7.5 dmg per arrow... whereas a white lvl 1 support fire is giving you 10.. Double Strike only starts to outdps Support Fire when it gets quality and/or lvls into thunder flourish and/or itself. Pressure Points is in a similar boat in that it can outdps every other boon in the entire game with enough points into it.

So I had a build once with the bow (forgive me I'm new to this game) I had Aphrodite attack and hammered the bow to not charge but hold spam attack. Most of my upgrades went into increasing attach dmg and gold went into jerky. I haven't beaten Hades yet but that was the first time I even reached Hades with the bow.

I didn't know about the Zeus cool down. That's brutal, and probably a big part of why you need soooo much Zeus at once. Does that mean you actually actively do not want attack speed from Hermes when you're doing the Zeus Eris build? I tend to hunt for it with the rail in general

rama zeus spam on special is always a good back-up plan.. but it's not a good idea to plan for.. from my experience anyways.. it's just.. kind of difficult to get what you'd need.. It'd be better to actually plan for a good artemis build.. (i prefer to have aphro on special in order to look for heart rend) .. but sometimes it doesn't always work out.. like, idk like rama is pretty versatile right, there's always a back up plan if it doesn't work out.. but if you're like.. planning on a gimmick build.. which should normally be rama's back-up plan.. you won't have a back-up plan for the back-up plan if you catch my drift.

poseidon dash is just the most powerful thing in the game imo

XD It seems like Healian did read comments. I was talking about Rama Special damage isn't weak and can be crazy later on if you get the right boons from last video and Helian played it today. If you got this much from Zeus and you're a Chaos Shield Zeus lover, there's no-way you can lose to Hades with Rama Zeus build XD. Rama Zeus special build is actually quite nimble with good range.

I mostly like cold fusion because it makes activating privileged status easier

Have you done a run where you try to get the biggest possible damage number? I did some calculations using the final combo of Excalibur (200 base damage jfc), and with every damn increase to damage and crit damage I could, and got about 12k. For reference, I recently got about 4300 damage without Heart Rend, and Shadow Slash but not Exposed. I got it on a little Vermin, so unless there is some shenanigans where they take bonus damage, 12k damage is definitely possible.

The only time I can think of Cold Fusion being really good is if the only lightning effects you have are something like the revenge boon or the Call. Other than that it just seems excessive.

Does sea storm affect all lightning damage universally or just when foes knocked away?

How come his special targets endlessly after hitting attack? My special only last 2 or 3 shots and i have to hit with the attack again. And how come he barely gets any darkness/gems pop up?

A shame how Double Strike got all the credit for the dps increase that was mostly brought on by the criminally underestimated Relentless Volley. Also note to myself, bring sunglasses to Zeus runs.

i tried a doom build with rama and oh boy the damage ramps up at the end. its slow by by the time i reached elysium i was doing 15k+ dmage per doom proc. once you get the +4 special hammer it goes nuts.
