Nothing wrong with that song and performance... Buried my best friend two days ago and he choose that song to remember him by that day. Good choice...had a difficult time to hold it together..

Fantastic- many people expect a pitch and rhythm perfect rendition 30 years on, I've performed with minimal equipment , no drum/Bass/Keyboards..easy to criticise. If you compare with multi-track studio recordings, of course it can never be as good. Dropping an octave is safe for an older singer and preferable to not sustaining or hitting notes.So to everyone who moans- put the details of when you're performing 'unplugged', I'll do my best to get to you and critique your performance. This is a sterling performance by pro's made even better by the passage of time since its release in 1986.

I don't really care what octave a guy sings in. The questions I ask is does a song still touch me and why does it touch me? I first heard this as a 14 year old kid and as I've grown it seems to have made more sense over the years.

i love this song for all and everything. this cover version ist good,.....but only good. only the original version gives me goosebumps and the backflashes of the nice gone time i had in the past. this one is one of alot good covers. nothing more.
