@@Skippy__ yeah, iirc following the war the Cetme was designed by German engineers in Spain. When they went back to Germany eventually they brought the design back with them and tweaked it into the HK G3

El Cetme es el original, el G3 se fabricó después en Alemania con permiso de España, al principio conservaba el nombre original de Cetme, luego lo bautizaron G3 y simplemente le cambiaron el alza y el guardamanos y la culata por plástico.

Paddle Release, Pic Rail Would Be Worth $1,200 Price Point. This is a nice build though. But several similar options for $800-$1000. Cool factor is there 100%

Cetme C is older than G3, G3 is a better quality copy but both are great rifles

Excelente fusil de la década del 60 (creo) con funcionamiento por rodillos copiado luego por H&K para su fusil G3. Su principal defecto era el peso.

Justamente es al revés, el G3 lo fabricó Alemania bajo un contrato y licencia de fabricación concedido por España, ellos lo cambiaron el nombre a G3 y pusieron plástico en lugar de madera y lo vendieron por todo el mundo más que el propio Cetme en España, por eso mucha gente piensa como tú. It’s the almost identical to .308 except pressure capacity, case sizing, and chamber dimensions

@@stevensparks8335 7.62x54R is the Russian caliber made for the mosin 7.62x51 is the NATO caliber that is basically a 30-06 with a shortened case, also known as .308

Nada supera lo made in Spain de hecho muchas armas alemanas que se han fabricado en España son de mejor calidad y fama que las propias alemanas como el famoso fusil Mauser español reconocido internacionalmente superior al original. Con el Cetme y sú hijo el G3 sucede lo mismo.

It's not a G3, this is the Spanish CETME-C, the Germans built the G3 using the CETME as inspiration

@SouthernTacticalRVA sorry, I don't know what the 1st, 2nd, or fourth amendment is, because I live in New Zealand. Few years ago, an Australian boy, shot 51 people dead here in New Zealand (to prove that he could arrive in another country and kill people). So our government offered to buy gun owners weapons to destroy them. Thousands of new Zealanders accepted the offer. So there is now very few MSAR(military style assault rifles)or MSSA(Military style semi automatic) in new Zealand. Australia did the same when a gunman (mr bryant)shot people in Tasmania. The book is called "Born or bred".

Siento no estar de acuerdo. En lo único que sobrepasa el AK al cetme es en que es más ligero y tiene algo más de cadencia en ráfaga, el Cetme es mucho más potente, tiene más alcance y es más duro y resistente ya que sú chapa es mucho más gruesa. Además la munición de 7,62x51 mm OTAN del Cetme es bestial , con rozarte te pone fuera de combate.
